Recently picked up a Used XH2s. Testing out FLOG 2 and the 6.2k Open Gate. It's been a learning curve but a fun one at that. This was meant to be a longer video consisting of photos and possibly a voice over but unfortunately my memory card malfunctioned and all the photos disappeared... ENJOY

Hey lovely work! Did you do anything different when using CINEPRINT35 for FLOG footage cause isnt it supposed to be used for FLOG2? Where did you get the music?? Also do you know how to combat red skin tones or overall redness when using CinePrint35 for Flog footage?
Hi! Thank you🙏🏾 For this one I believed I turned off all the FLOG 2 adjustments in the CST node. There is an update out now for FLOG which I have not used yet. I believe I used epidemic for this one but I also use Artlist for music. There’s a video by a TH-camr -John Stambaugh that addresses the redness in FLOG. I hope it helps!

to comment about skin tones- a qualifer node does a fine job at isolating red skin tones, and you can simply pull back the saturation from there

Thank you! This film emulation reproduces colors so beautifully. The film grain is part of the powergrade. I believe it uses the built in noise in Davinci Resolve

Awe thanks! I appreciate your comment and support 🙏🏾 I can’t remember if I used a mist filter in this video but I do use it sometimes- NISI 1/4 mist filter. I’ve been opting out and using it less and just adding the effect after in Davinci Resolve
