I have been working on vehicles for many years and have had rust jacking under wheel speed sensors but never thought it would happen enough to pinch a hose like that. I just had this issue and I opened up the bracket and sprayed some fluid film in there. It’s working as good as new! Thank you very much for this video!
I was suspecting the speed sensor because ive been having problems on one side i change literally everything , bottom piston seems to stick bought new caliper same problem , i was thinking it was the speed sensor did that fix the problem ??
The material presented seems pretty good, but the production needs a tweek. Please turn your camera/phone so that you'll have panoramic photography. The way it is currently filmed, I feel like I'm in a tunnel. And the person presenting this material should be wearing a microphone. Thanks.
The brake hose is a $10 part online. If you’re changing the caliper might as well change the hose too. An extra 5 min to swap in a new one. They’re rubber and only last so long anyways. My mechanic wouldn’t do the job without swapping parts like that out anyway. Don’t be cheap, people! Brakes r important!
Thanks you very much for the video I did have the same problem, changed the brake hose and the problem disappeared Thanks you again ,saved lots of time and money Thx,kris
Respectfully, you need to be clear that what you are doing with this "repair" is disabling/ bypassing a safety device. The seat sensor is intended to turn off the passenger dash airbag when a very light weight child or a baby in a carrier are lawfully mounted in the front passenger seat. So this repair allows you to use the seat for an adult sized passenger safely, but not a child. You're choice and liability....
The air bag will not deploy because its a bypass its just telling it im readable so the light won't illuminate that's the risky part. Its better just to repair/ replace the part
My brother has a 2008 328i with a 93C3 code showing. The technician said it would affect the deployment of the driver's airbag. Is this true? Also, buy installing the emulator, will the passenger air-bag deploy even if no one is sitting in the passenger seat?
Next time try pressing the piston back in with the bleeder open. You'll know right then if the caliper is seizing or if the problem moving fluid is elsewhere (usually the hose as you have found).
Thanks I appreciate it.

Very helpful video, thank you very much

All I did was pry the steel mount apart a little bit till the hose was able to move in there and it seems to be fixed.
🤦♂️
This was very helpful. Hopefully that’s my issue. Thanks
Dodge journey break pedal goes to the floor can't pump up new master cylinder someone help
Someone got the answer
Kelly just saw your post rebleed the brakes also look for any leaks ,. Or loose connections otherwise back to looking at master cyl!

You stated you bled the brakes, if you did how is it you didn't notice the issue of no brake fluid getting to the caliper ?
Need to change your 2009 and 2010 Dodge Journey to the 2013 model brakes.
Didn’t fix my issue
Replaced brake hose and problem corrected. I cut open the hose and found it blocked at the metal bracket, just what the video stated. Thanks!
That is exactly the problem I am having, and you explained why the hose is failing. Thank you. Now I will try replacing the brake hose.

you're a life saver! my 2010 mini had the same issue. here's the part on eBay: www.ebay.com/itm/181877942594
This vid does not just apply to dodge. Wow. Thanks for the click bait.
What does that matter
I replaced all rubber hoses of our Dodge Journey. Brake pedal seems much firmer and responsive now. All rubber hoses i bought are ACdelco branded.
A link would have been cool. But thanks for all the other info!!!
How much would doing all that to all for wheels cost?around? Thanks
The video on TH-cam have become crap.
