The beginning of this song reminds me of back when COVID hit, I was only 9 and my parents lived in different homes so I’d go to my dads every other weekend. When I’d come back I wouldn’t be allowed to leave my room for a week unless it was to use the bathroom. And after a week I’d have to wear a mask in my own home! It took a major toll on my social skills and is the reason I struggle to make friends as well as I used to. Nowadays I stay in my room a lot because I’m so used to being in my room from COVID and it’s affected my relationships with my family. Now I have nothing but hatred for my mother because last year she chose her addiction to alcohol over her own kids and would put the responsibility of my sisters onto me, mind you I was 12, almost 13 and both of my sisters are autistic so watching them wasn’t easy and the results of that are me no longer being able to fully trust people. And I tend to close off and stop interacting with people almost all together. Yes I may have had a shitty few years but it doesn’t affect me anymore because IM BULLETPROOF! ITS MADE ME SO BULLETPROOF! If you’ve taken the time to read this just know whatever you’ve gone through you’ll become stronger from it because ITS MADE YOU BULLETPROOF!
