Use indoors or outdoors, and you can race up to 8 of these at a time for some competitive fun. Made with impact-resistant material, this thing can take some jumps and spills very well. Marx Amphibious toy military trucks - Known as the Amphibious DUKW
มุมมอง 1193 ปีที่แล้ว
These toys are known as DUKWs - Amphibious toy military trucks. They were made in the 60's. They run nice, and I demonstrate that in this video. Both battery powered ones shown here are made by Marx. One box is mint, and the other is in poor condition, but shows the artwork well. The one that is not battery powered is made by Ideal. Great toys for land and water play!

I’ve collected over 70 of these dealer promos. When these cars are magnified, you can really see the imperfections however they were perfect as they appeared.
Picked up a 1963 T-Bird promo car at an estate sale this past weekend for $12. Very cool. Unfortunately when I got it home I noticed the DS tail light was missing. Otherwise perfect shape.
Thank you for posting an episode about our Stanzel Helicopter! We love to find collectors like yourself finding and sharing our toys. Come visit our Stanzel Model Aircraft Museum in Schulenburg TX someday!
I have one of these in excellent condition. What make it special is that it is a promo of a prototype, that Chrysler Turbine. Any idea where I can find people who collect these?
My grandfather worked for Chevrolet in the 70s, he had a case of the early 70s Chevrolet pickup promo models, but we were stupid kids, and we opened the boxes to play with them! I remember his were all red...regretted the fact that we didnt keep them!
I don't think it was a bad movie I'm a fan of it love it when I first saw it I think the toys are cool
It's pronounced Stanzel (Not "stanza "
Me and my older brother had a Stanzel airplane in the late '60s. We got it with S&H green stamps. The plane broke after the 2nd time my older brother played with it.
I had this toy. I remember destroying it too...
I had the larger Dukw in England somewhere between 1965 and 1969. I loved it, it was such a good toy. I think water got in through the propeller shaft which didn’t help. Also in those days batteries had a horrible habit of leaking when they ran out of power, and a number of my toys suffered. The dukw really did float, and it did move quite slowly. It was solidly built, indeed I still have it though it isn’t in good condition. The motor didn’t last long. I used to like the front wheels being able to turn and the mechanism for that was metal. Hreat toy, and a joy to see it again in working condition. Great box!
im looking for a 1965 4 dr mercury monterey aqua marine or any color
Duster was a Plymouth. They were offered from 1970 through 1976. The Dodge Dart equivalent was called the Demon from 1971 through 1972, then it was calledvthe Dart Sport from 1973 through 1976. I think Duster promos were offered from 1970 through around 1973. Dart Demon/Sport promos were offered from 1971 through 1976, all made by MPC.
The 1971 Dodge Demon was only available as a model kit, there never was a promo of it.
Thanks for this video. Just picked up 12 of these at the GW for 2$ each. One a 60 El Camino. One like it just sold on eBay for $150😮

Great review. Nice to see that original artwork on the card backgrounds. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it. Yeah they had such beautiful artwork on the packaging back then - I wonder what those original paintings actually go for nowadays... they are each definitely one of a kind!
