I am a business lecturer, and I am surprised how you see Braveheart as transactional as he is focused on the future where transactional leaders deal with today not the future. Arguably, freedom is not a concept of today but the future. Moreover, the speech he makes is very inspirational the emotions are passing through his followers. Ultimately, in idealized influence, the leader will walk the walk and talk the talk. So they influence by doing what they preach. (When he was beheaded he shouted freedom)
