I still think they will do a season 9. Possibly betwixt some house of dragons seasons. Everyone was just burnt out, the source material was exhausted, and that's why Season 8 was disastifying. But Bran being the night king could actually make season 8 good if you then re-assess that everything that happens does so because Bran was working them all the whole time.

I still think bran is the NK and THE dragon reborn AA. When the 3ER shows bran the origin of the NK. I think THE dragon was a warg. The NK getting created was the moment the dragon fell asleep. But like any warg about to die hy warged the nearest thing, the tree. I think the 3ER is the conscious of the NK. It keeps warging the NK and back. So those scenes of the 3ER showing bran about the NK orgin is really AA reminding himself of what happened to it and what needs to be undone (by waking the dragon, AA reborn). They didn't k*ll the NK, they reversed what the children did to him in front of another tree. The dragon must have 3 heads, the tree, the NK and the 3ER/bran. All 3 heads united when they "k*lled" the NK. Whomever had the dagger before knew it was meant to k*ll bran at winterfell. They were just 7 seasons to soon. Probably misinterpreted the fl*mes or something. The NK/bran is our hero AA. Arya is his sworn sword lightbringer. She woke the dragon and brought the dawn. And AA's song is the song of ice and fire (not dany and jon but WW and LoL, G*d of death and life). Its AA who is singing in harmony, balance between life and death, only life pays for death. AA is ice and fire, life and death.

Bran knew who he was while Jon did not know their journey was to find their true paths. They both were kings. Brand knew it was the knife was to kill himself in Nightwalker form. Jon missed it. Big time Jon should have killed the Villian, but Killled his Queen instead. When you are lost and do not know who you are, you kill those closest to you and your destiny. Your enemies are as closest to you as family would be yourself.

I don't think he was the knight king.. remember the Hodor scene, you can see the horror in his eyes for what he caused by having to warg him in the dream. Someone with that level of horror wouldn't be the night king it just doesn't make sense, but neither does Danny destroying kings landing.

Bran is the night king!clues: 1. He time travel and night king can see him and even touched him 2. Its not Arya who suppose to kill NK its jhon snow. 3. According to HOTD the daggar explain about the long night and it is the weapon that meant to kill NK and it was used to attempt assassinate bran in season 1. 4. No one can explain who actually sent catspaw to kill bran. So it’s obvious that assasination attempt has nothing to do with bran seen lanisters in the tower. 5. In the pocess of the dagger he is weirdly touching it bcz he knows it meant kill him. 6. Bran give the daggar to arya knowing at this point she wil kill the old night king .. 7.he persuaded sam to tell the secret about jon so eventually this wil lead death of dany So my point is bran went back in time and became the knight king so in current time line both NK and bran are the same person,,, somebody who knw the HOTD argons prophercy( probably another time traveler send the catspaw with the daggar to kill him) but he was not succeeded bcz jon is the one who suppose to kill bran,, with danerys death and thankx to terion he is pn the throne having ultimate power…so another book wil come stating that jon and drogon kill bran with the daggar ending the long night as prophercied by aegon the conqueror

To be honest, the story of Bran being a three-eyed raven is very good, it's just that it's poorly written in the series and the lack of digging deeper into the character's story. I also don't like how the show runner makes how bran behave to meera at the end

Bran being the Night King was the moment everyone waited for. The canonic storyline was the flattest belly splash no one even guessed. How the story was so splendid all the way until up until season 7 is still beyond me, and I'm not even a hardcore fan.

I like to think the 3 eyed raven is its own entity and kind of eldritch. It has its own goals and operates through life cycles of entire planets. The birth of intelligence to the end of that discuss is a single life cycle for one of its kind. It could have constructed every problem from how the first living things learned how to provide from themselves all the way through the rest. It may be the biggest threat there is

Bran being the night king was a stupid fan theory and idk how it became so popular because it doesn't even make since. It makes about as much since as my theory that the masked woman that gives Danarese advice about what path to take in the books and once or twice in the show, being a grown up Arya Stark from the future. Who already knows how it all ends and is guiding her to what needs to happen. For the show fans only in the books Bran wasn't the only worg all other the Starks that had a wolf live long enough become one, so Jon, and Arya. There ability just isn't as strong as brans
