“STEREO SUSHI” is not only my favourite series from “HED KANDI”, but also my favourite “CD compilation” series from my personal music collection!
A total of 14 “double-CD” releases from 2002 to 2008, each release with a unique artwork and/or theme - CD1 known as “First Course” and CD2 known as “Second Course”!
Unfortunately, the only volume that's my least favourite is “STEREO SUSHI 9 SASHIMI”, due to most of the songs are “Tech House” and “Electro House”!
I remember surfing on the internet (roughly late ’08/early ’09), a listing was shown for an upcoming volume 15 release on Amazon and a few other websites, but it never happened or ever got released!
I wanted to create the best of “STEREO SUSHI” DJ mixes, picking out a favourite song on each course from every release!
This is Part 1 of the DJ mix, known as “FIRST COURSE SESSIONS”, each song from CD1 from every release, plus a cheeky bonus song at the end of the DJ mix!
I was careful on selecting the songs, because of the TH-cam music copyrights, but hopefully you will able to hear the whole DJ mix without any mutes!
I do have respect for all artists/DJs/producers/labels, I won’t be getting any royalties from this DJ mix - I’ve uploaded it for the love of “SOULFUL HOUSE” & “DEEP HOUSE” music!
