I am a cradle Catholic who was away from the church for many, many years established an agnostic, secular household. My 12 year old daughter's self-discovered, sincere and fervent desire to be Baptized brought our family back home. The church that I have come home to, the same exact parish that I left, is a completely changed place. 25 years later my home parish that was dying ... is alive and thriving with love and service. Our parish is full of young people like my daughter, wanting to live their faith in Christ. There are people of all races and nationalities celebrating mass together, serving their community. It's a miracle every day.

My only criticism of the movie is that communism in China was not mentioned. So much going there during this time period. How about a sentence or two about how many of its own citizens the CCP has killed. But I guess the movie was made in Hollywood after all and we know who owns it.

This movie, like Trump, is just one lie after another. It completely ignored Reagan's racist views, including his support of housing discrimination in California and opposition to voting rights. This film also ignores the fact that Reagan's policies caused the wealth gap to grow as it is, that trickle-down economics was a fraud, that his environmental policy was led by people who either believed that the "end times" were near or who took bribes from business interests, and that the Iran-Contra scandal was treason. So the US outspent the Soviet Union on arms, which largely caused the end of the first "Cold war." Look where we are now.

This was a very impressive interview. Reagan, like Albert Einstein, divorced a woman who then converted to the Catholic faith. I think Trump will go down in history as a good president, but not on the level of Ronald Reagan. Reagan had a talent for surrounding himself with really good people, and together they accomplished good things that seemed impossible.

Speaking of Gorbachev, one of the great mistakes we made was giving him the shaft when he came to the West to get financial aid. Instead we took the side of a man who wrecked no only the Soviet Union but the Russian state. I think of Putin’s memory of this is has led to the present situation.

I recently met Dominique Dawes, at a Conference in Orlando Florida. As much as I'm impressed with her Athletic accomplishments in the International, American and Olympics Competition, I truly believe that her Greatest Accomplishment is the Positive Impact she is having with the youth in our society. She is bringing the love of Christ to the World!
