That’s the UK version of what we call in New Zealand a pukeko you would call it a Moorhen in New Zealand we call it a pukeko and in Australia they call it a swamp hen
nice vlog
many thanks!!
Another wonderful vlog, many thanks.
@@livingsimplytosimplylive6817 many thanks!!
does it overheat?
@@khonzanincube8219 i was filming in hot weather for 10 - 20 minutes in 4k 60fps and in the highest quality and i never had any issues with overheating. i have now sold my canon r8 because i have the iphone 16 pro max but yeah that camera was very good
You should have just stayed in Colchester there is no work in London plus your on a pushbike Its very saturated
@@pixelperfectentertainment7582 colchester was very difficult because of the traffic, tiny roads, strange roundabouts and loads of people in some areas which made it almost impossible to cycle, even on some roads. late at night it was ok though. but anyways, my plan was to stay for a few weeks in different towns of the uk. for now i'm staying in london even if i make £5 per hour and then i'll decide which cities i'll be visiting next. it's like mini holidays, i get to see different places whilst still working lol
Do you permanently live in air bnbs ?
@@greggrech24 no, only sometimes
im back in london again, just recently came back from my holiday in nigeria
@@londonbuses330 you are lucky because it must have been nice and warm over there!! i went to norwich and colchester and it was freezing cold!! 🥶
Looooong trip but SO beautiful! Glad to see you back!
yeh that trip was one of the best ones that i've ever done!! and many thanks!!
Where did you buy the battery?
i bought it online but on their website it says that they are permanently closed. there are better batteries on ebay though
Hooray nice to see you back 😊
many thanks!! 😄
You can’t ride a push bike on the a12 lol
@@pixelperfectentertainment7582 yeh, luckily i was not on the main lane. it was a side road merging with the a12 but i didn't risk it and decided to take the longer but safer option, the cycling route lol. oh, and there is also another cycle lane alongside the a12, all the way from witham to colchester. i took that route on my way back to colchester but the longer cycling route was much more entertaining lol
Hats off to you Shekhar, you are a superstar.😊
@@chinchilla687 many thanks!! 😄
All the way to witham haha, even a car driver wouldn’t do that. Must of been a joke order to see if anyone comes, they shouldn’t be allowed to make that order.
@@squibys2262 i mean it was fun to be honest and i wouldn't mind doing it again lol
Merry Christmas ! How many miles do you average per day ? How many miles have you done in total on your e-bike since you start your delivery service ? You work hard for your money , often in bad weather and very later hours ! Thanks for sharing your experience and taking us with you all around the UK .
@@craigbeekhuizen357 Merry Christmas to you too!! and i don't know about the total mileage because i have changed almost every part of the bike including the electrical stuff. and yeh i don't actually like working in the rain or very cold weather but with the right gear it is actually doable lol
Maybe that delivery request had been bouncing around the drivers that were out Shek and had been rejected by most of them
@@Debbiestrainsandtoys yeh most probably and i was lucky that it was offered to me because it was a really nice journey lol
What maximum distance can you ride with this with a full single charge? with paddle assist ? and how about only with throttle?
i no longer have the bike but if i remember well, i think that i was getting approximately 40 miles range with a single charge in the highest pedal assist mode. and i didn't have a throttle so i don't know how much range you would get with throttle only
@@shekhar1203 Any faults during the usage?
@@shekhar1203 if you use the higher paddle assist that mean more battery drain fast rigt? if we use paddle assistance in medium. can we ride more?
@@shenayaruben8321 there were no problems with the bike and i can't remember if i was getting more range in the lower assist mode. i think that in the lower assist mode you would go slower and therefore it would take you longer to drain the battery. however, you would get the same 40 mile range unless you are putting some effort when pedalling. if i remember well, i think that i had it on the maximum level assist all the time because it was a bit hard to pedal without the motor's assist
@ what is the new bike you are doing deliveries? How far can you ride with that?
Hey there! Do you think it's a good place for a family with children to live? My husband and I work in delivery. Happy New Year 🎉
@patriciaborgesuk6266 hello!! and yes, colchester is a nice place to live in and a very nice town for families. when it comes to deliveries, if you're on a car or motorbike it will be fine. however, if you're on an ebike, then it might be a bit difficult. in my opinion, it is very dangerous to do deliveries on a bicycle or ebike in colchester because of the amount of hills, the way some people drive and the weather sometimes. but of course, if you're an experienced cyclist then you will be fine. the time that i have spent in colchester, it has been very busy for me. except for one or two days, almost every time i go online i get deliveries. Happy New Year!!
PERFECT vid, and just what i was looking for, keep going on god bless you! 😊
glad it helped!! and many thanks!!
I hope your thumb feels better soon and Merry Christmas Shek
many thanks!! my thumb is recovering faster than i expected and might be fully healed within days!! and Merry Christmas to yo too!!
Hope you get better soon mate. I had a similar accident two days ago.
many thanks!! and hope you get better soon too!!
Wow what a rough adventure you’ve been on. Merry Christmas my friend
Merry Christmas!! and yeh it's been a bit crazy lately. i was being so careful when riding my ebike but the unexpected happened lol
Sorry to hear that pal, get well soon 😢
many thanks!!
Did you get the cam footage of the crash?
no, unfortunately my camera was turned off when i had the accident
Shekhar we hope you get well soon!
many thanks!!
I hope you are doing well!
oh yeah, right now i'm very well, it's just the left hand that is taking longer than i expected to recover. but i think that another 5 to 6 weeks and should be back to normal
Quick question. I see the zig zagging lines in the road, I’ve seen them at other times. My question is what do they indicate. Again another great vlog.
many thanks!! and the zig zag lines basically mean that there is a zebra crossing. there are zig zag lines before and after the zebra crossing
@@shekhar1203 you have zebras, lucky ducks lol
yeh 😆 i have actually seen them using the zebra crossing a few times in london lol
Do you have a battery balancer installed? Or just a direct parallel connection.
just a direct parallel connection
@shekhar1203 are they all the same size of battery? I am asking because I want to add an additional battery.
in this video i have one original radpower battery (14ah) and the other two are bigger batteries (23ah each). currently i have one radpower battery (14ah) one bigger battery (23ah) and one even bigger battery (28ah) mounted on the rear rack.
Excellent bro your smashing it well done bro keep it up👍
many thanks!!
I love redeeming my myMaccas offers here in New Zealand and when we were in England earlier this year we discovered that we couldn’t get New Zealand McDonald’s app to work on UK McDonald’s self order machine
yes, unfortunately the app cannot be used overseas
Hi Can you tell us what kind of clothes you wear on top? Is it a jacket or a raincoat? A sweater or thermal underwear? A scarf? I also do a lot of cycling and the cold air gets into my chest and I'm looking for a way to deal with it :)
currently i wear loads of jackets, i'll show it on one of my next videos
Greetings from Los Angeles!
greetings from colchester!!
Omg what are the staff doing😮😮😮😮😮
i'm not surprised anymore to be honest because these things happen a lot when doing deliveries lol. some restaurant staff look at me and my phone showing the order number in big screen and it's like they get scared or something like that and they quickly look away lol
Thank you for bringing us along on your day. I always look forward to your videos and your commentary and the things you show us. I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year.
many thanks!! and very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you too!!
Make more videos please
See you today in Colchester 👍
Bro what bike you use to deliver?
it's the Radrunner Plus (1st generation)
Bro what bike you use to deliver?
Radrunner Plus (1st generation) from Rad Power Bikes
you seem like such a nice guy Shekhar! wishing you the best!
many thanks!!
Which battery do you use and how much is the mileage for this
i have 3 batteries: radpowerbikes 14ah battery i get approx. 10 miles, 23ah downtube samsung battery i get approx. 20 miles and 28ah LG battery i get approx. 40 miles. i used to get over 100 miles in range with all 3 batteries but lately i have noticed that i am getting less range and it's because i have been using them almost everyday and they no longer have the full capacity
@ do you prefer to do deliveries in car ?
i think that with the right gear, and the right e-bike, e-bike is the best option. car would be the best option if there wasn't so much traffic and parking restrictions. so this would be my list: best option: 1st: e-bike, 2nd: motorbike, 3rd: car. and for evening / late night deliveries or rainy / windy days: 1st: car, 2nd: motorbike, 3rd: e-bike
Very good video!
many thanks!!
Love the video Shekhar, keep it up!
many thanks!!
So the first food you picked up went cold for 10min while you waited... that's madness Ide never use these delivery apps I rather pick up my own food & eat it Hot.. dont you get complaints?
usually the second pick up from the second restaurants are ready and if they are not ready, the average waiting time is 2-3 minutes. i don't get complaints and i think that it's because i use 3 delivery bags to keep the food hot. so there is one insulated delivery bag inside another one and them two bags inside another bigger insulated delivery bag. no chance for food to get cold 😎
Shek we got some spare bike tires in at work and those were heavy to put on the shelf and it looked like they were still brand new
i have fixed the tyre and i still got loads of spare tires and inner tubes but thanks anyways!!
18:37 Shek That song is Fall at your feet by Crowded House at New Zealand band
oh ok. i didn't know the song but thought it would look cool for the video lol
Enjoy your videos did you give up your accommodation in London?
it's a long story but at the moment i'm just travelling around england so my main address is still in london
1:56 greenwich is very bad i made 15£ yesterday in 4 hour's and im on a motorbike. =,(
that is very unlucky. usually that area gets busy from september. hopefully it will get busy again
I absolutely love your content as always. I have a question. I am in a very cold environment New York State along the lake Erie shore. With winter coming up, I was thinking about getting some handlebar mitts I believe is what they are called and I see that you use them. Can you give me any information on them? Do you have a particular brand that you like? Do they work well etc.
@@livingsimplytosimplylive6817 many thanks!! and the handlebar mitts that i have are very bad when it is freezing cold. i might buy another one that i saw online, they are the oxford cycle handlebar mitts but the thing is that at the moment i have a good pair of gloves so might not need to get that
@ Thank you so much for the information. I do have a good pair of gloves, but it was suggested to me about the bar mitts and I’ve been thinking about it.
@@livingsimplytosimplylive6817 no worries!! and yeh, average handlebar mitts plus thermal waterproof gloves is what i am using right now. however, in my opinion, a good quality handlebar mitts is better because you would not need to wear thermal waterproof gloves. it also makes it easier to use the phone
@shekhar1203 get some heated grips you can get for like 40£. if it gets to cold 🥶
@@jasoncarthew2279 oh yeah, i've seen them before and that is actually the perfect option 👍
Do you think if you consistently get these good earnings that you might just stay in Colchester? Or do you just want to try different areas like explore
@@londonbuses330 my plan was to stay in colchester for a few weeks and then go to another city but for now i will be staying in colchester for a few months, probably like 6 months and then i'll go to another city. the good thing about colchester is that almost everytime i go anywhere near the town centre i get a delivery. the bad thing is that it is very difficult because of the amount of traffic and bad cycle lanes and small roads. it might be ok for other people but for me it is like a nightmare lol. although the good thing is that after 7pm it starts to get much easier to do deliveries because there is less traffic
The suitcase attached to the back 🥹
Hi Shekhar some great content keep up the good work Some advice, It’s better to make 4 10 minute videos instead of one long video and post more regularly like every other day it will help you with the TH-cam Algorithm to get your videos more noticed. Also please more food reviews!
many thanks!! originally the video was actually approx. 1 hour and 40 minutes long. i didn't even realise that i had filmed so much on that day lol. and yeh, there will be more food reviews!!
