Last year was the first time I read The Christmas Carol. I was looking at books and realized I had never read it. I liked it. I plan to read it again before the year is out. I don’t like claymation either. I can appreciate the craft of it….. but I find it unsettling.

By the way, Did you like "The Seven Year Slip" book? I'm near the beginning of the book..she bumped into the chef, getting a promotion at work but I haven't gotten to the meat of the book yet or some kind of "magical" part of the apartment?....reads as slow for now but I feel I'm okay reading further...want your input.

I highly reccomend Ella Fitzgeralds Christmas album. Does anyone remember The Christmas List (1997) movie? Loved watching it on ABC Family. I like a mix of color and white lights for a tree.

Okay I’m like what 5 mins later and you haven’t seen home alone 1 or 2?????? That’s crazy! Okay you have to watch these this week! Please! 1 is good but 2 is better! Please let us know if you do get the chance. Home alone 2, grinch, polar express, and the Christmas shows like ‘the year without a Santa Claus’, and frosty are musts. Also the Charlie browns are always watched per season… the great pumpkin, Thanksgiving and Christmas. And ‘Rudolf shiny new year’.

Your candle carousel brought back a childhood memory for me but mine was angels that spun around from the heat of the candle. Silent Night is my all time favourite song, not just Christmas carol. Maybe try and watch Home Alone 1. It is a fun classic! If you enjoy it then go for #2. I think you would get a kick out of them. Home Alone 1 & 2 were my Home Alone movies. If you watch them, I would suggest going in with the perspective of it (especially the first) being a “child’s fantasy.” A child wanting to do whatever they want and whenever they want without an adult telling them no. I have always found it funny and they have some sweet moments. Absolutely crazy what the burglars go through though. They would have had some permanent damage if some of it happened in real life. 🎄✨🎄

My own Christmas tradition is to do a lot of cooking, when I was a child, we were poor and the food was the basic, with one desert most of the time. Maybe you could do a Christmas dinner feast video. Thanks for filming.

all the christmas classic also the naitvity is good to watch as well we watch that only on christmas eve. u will like it. i still have the nightmare before christmas on VSH.sadly the stroage we got our stuff out of (7years in) broke or VSH player so now im without. it and csnt watch all my vidoes im super sad.....they wanna charge so much for them now like one costs 3-500 $$ .im like are you kidding me . well if anybody still has A VSH/ DVD combo thwybdont use anymore lmk. plz 😅😢😢

My fav Christmas movie is The Holiday! Don’t even really have a big reason as to why, but I absolutely love this movie and need to watch it around Christmas time. And a fun Christmas tradition I had growing up is making turkey udon with the leftover turkey as either a late night snack or a meal the next day. It’s something both sides of my family does and continues to this day! 😊

I have the Richard Paul Evans’ Christmas Box Trilogy. I thought I would get to it this year, but I’m not sure. The first one is pretty thin. So surely I can fit that in. Thanks for the inspiration. And favorite Christmas movie as a kid was It’s A Wonderful Life. Nowadays Emmett Otter’s Jugband Christmas or Muppet’s Christmas Carol.
