I still need a lot of practice when it comes to welding. I will be doing so more. There are still 2 spots on the driver quarter panel. Not to mention a whole new battery tray being needed. tony-yge-shop.fourthwall.com/?

I hope you get a usable mould Your layup does seem very dry though
Did you need to replace any of the bolts that held the bearing assemblies to the knuckles? What radio did you install and are you happy with it? Did you replace the seats? What seats do you like best for this car?
No I did not replace any of the bolts that held the assemblies in place. The radio I ended up putting in was the Jensen CMR2724. I am real happy with it and would buy it again if I needed another one. I don't know about different seats in the Camaro as I have only ever had the stock ones in them.
Cool vid I just followed you!!!!
mine dose the same thing but i have the oem raido and it a 99 i cant fix it i just bang it on to listen to music
Mine was 2 solder joints that went bad in the BCM. It took about 5 min to fix. Here is a link to a short I did to point out the joints to look at. th-cam.com/video/nAv-pPCgqKA/w-d-xo.html
Looks like maybe you have an awesome wife that got you that.
Should make work alot easier. Congrats
Thanks. It will definitely speed up the process.
The gold flake reminds me of my 99 Ranger in jalapeno green. Still one of my favorite colors
Good catch, a mistake anyone could make. Good push brother
Where is the ecm ?
Making progress brother, editing etc. 👍
Thank you. Always trying to progress.
Nice video
the really good videos are one's of mixups, errors, redos, total ruination.... people learn valuable info from how not to do something maybe more than being told how to do it right the first time. That was good to see how flake in black gets overwhelmed by the opaque black that coats the flake. A wet sanding would brighten that up I bet.
People persons.. .or is that people people... I knew an old gal who'd say "Who has more fun than people". She was usually a little ticked at something when she'd say it :)
Can't leave a comment on the most recent video, but if I could I'd say 'welcome to middle age". The bike looks good too.
Middle age and being lazy does it, not quite golf cart everywhere lazy tho.
Whoa...red! Looking good!
@@phantomfliteproductions I’m gonna try to get the door in the sun Saturday so the red flakes will really show.
Thats a beautiful red, what is the name of it?
Thanks. It is Victory Red (GM WA-9260) from Eagle National Supply. Then added Holographic Ultra Fine Glitter to it.
@@StartYourEngines77 Thanks for the reply! It looks great 👍
Hi! Try this: First, black paint. Then black candy and flakes into clear coat. Use a bigger spray gun. 1,6-1,8 tip on it. Forget all the filters!
Dear Sir, I have the same inverter / charger at my house, I have never been able to get the #3 charging position AGM type #2 to boost at a rate of over 14 volts, I have had to set the charging position switch at #4 Sealed lead acid to get it to boost at 14.4 Do you have the same problem ??? Setting #3 says it will boost at 14.6 volts but on my unit it will not ???
When I hit my breaks my dash cluster lights up brighter
Nice shirt. I got it in white so I could tie dye it.
I should have gotten white or gray. A lot cooler with those.
Looks great. You should see some attempts on Repos we collect 😅
I can only imagine. FB market place is popular for this. 🤣
Is the metal pin supposed to move? Mine wasn’t in the hole of the switch I put it in but it’s still not moving or engaging
Yes. It engages the switch. It could be slightly off still. I had to mess with mine a little to get it to engage.
.
My left turn signal does not work. New socket, new bulb, it lights up but wont blink. Right turn signal is good, rear turn signals are both good. What do i do?
I want to smell it now 😂
I don’t have turn signals at all , or brake lights but my flashers work and my running day lights any pointers u can give me?
In this video I explain how I tried and found out the module was bad. If I remember correctly all lights pass thru the module, so it could be the same for your tail lights. th-cam.com/video/EHJiZneV2Xs/w-d-xo.html
How many coats of metal flake?
2gr of flake in 5oz of clear and 2 coats.
do you ever actually paint anything or you just fuck around with samples all week?
Just saw the video… anything you would do different? Also, was it difficult to realign the door? Tks
I would make something with a bolt a nut and a socket and press the pieces in place, so I wouldn't have to use brute force.
Kool! You didn't say once Bully Hotrod. Always wanted a bully hotrod.
Thr first combo was insane just came across looking at paints now i want some gold and merlot on my shit
First one is Black with f20 flake then the gold. It is my personal favorite also.
Not to bad.
That little manual relay has two reset buttons on it, the one that has four connectors.
I like the blue without the gold in it myself.
That blue did come out nice.
damn right, idk why all the other idiots go from under the car lol
How did you cut the inserts for the ram air?
When my brother had the car he bought the hood for it. From where I am not sure.
Good work man! Keep it up! Excited to see it
Practice makes perfect man!
Hey what building is that did it come in a kit? What size is it ? I'm looking for a new one like what you got lmk plz
Bought it from 5 Star Metal Buildings. It is 24x30, I wish I went just a little bit bigger. Although I did over size it just not enough. I got a hold of a local rep from a family member that got one from them prior. I did most the work thru the rep, sizing and all. the back log was about 2 months but seems like that is normal now, I think the demand for them went up. When it was installed there was a crew that did the work. www.fivestarmetalbuildings.com/
@@StartYourEngines77 I want to ad it to my existing 30x30 kind of a big spray booth thanks I'll be reaching out to them
Good job
Much appreciated.
For that inside of the deck lid you could (cheap way) sand and bedline it. OR (what I would consider) FLOX it. It would look sweet, whatever color you may want. Naturally, sand it, smooth it out 1st. But yeah....
The plans extend to the trunk as well. Clean it sand it (kind of) repaint it and cover it with carpet. When I finally learn to weld the trunk will look nicer than original but still functional.
I was thinking of flocking it, also, then I saw your comment. Quick story, Back in the 70's, a custom shop had closed and an auction was held to get rid of everything inside. Of course, all the shop equipment went for crazy money because of the famousness of the shop. Then they got to the section where he did the flocking (flocking had gone out of fashion several years before this). All kinds of specific equipment, the electrical stuff, heat lamps, and the inventory of cans of flocking covered a 30foot wall, floor to ceiling. No one wanted it because it was one bid gets all of it in one lot. $60 bought everything in that room.
1 step at a time man! How did that lap sealant work out? or did it?
I bought 4 tubes. So now I have an extra or 2 for the motorhome. When I get the old sealer off I think I will get it all done at the same time.
The headlights look great thou....
Somebody must love playing with fiberglass.
What gives you that idea? lol
I have a coolent leak in this area at the firewall dripping on my exhaust. I think it could be this 😮
That is exactly how I found mine. Leaking on the exhaust.
@@StartYourEngines77 wow okay. 👍 thanks man! Also my alternator squeaks. Is it time for a new one? Or can I replace the wheel on it?
Been there in that effed up heat man! Take a breath and check it tomorrow! Just a lil old school tip: In my opinion, seam sealer sucks. I have used a sealer called Lap Sealant (commonly used on campers and RV's). It goes on soooo much smoother. Take care.
Thanks for the tips. Just ordered some lap sealant. I would have never thought of that. I have a class A motorhome and needed to use that stuff once.
@@StartYourEngines77 Hope it helps!
Watched 'til the end!
You must have been bored.😆
"Same cup". Ahh... reminds me of folks who didn't clean out their pans after using hot mud. :D
Puts red flake in black paint and 90 percent of the flake gets turned black. Put it in the clear
