Reucastle Bridge is one of Sri Lanka’s surviving “suspended cable bridges” for medium weight vehicular traffic. The picturesque location and the sheer height above the gushing waters add value to this engineering marvel. Kitul planks have been used as floor boards over the tensioned cables.
