Damn I was hoping you would know how to connect the ronin rec button to the camera , you probably got the same problem that I have , non of the cables that came with the ronin worked, from what I’ve seen in other vids you have to buy a special cable mcc to mini usb that fits in the usb c Input of the camera , I hope it’ll work I just purchased one online

hey,, been thinking about getting a couple FD lenses.. a 24mm 2.8 and a 50mm 1.2.... what kind of adapter will I need for my S6..?? just a FD to EF adapter..? Thanks.. Looks great..

Lots of issues with the rs50. Power supply issue we can work around. But the barn doors, the stupid mounting options and the need to remove the barn doors to use the defuser. the stepping shadows due to the led distribution is more than annoying. 5% Powerincrements and total light output sucks. Sadly i also had one faulty unit and gvm kindly sent a free one with 2 batteries on top. That one is labeled rs50, looks different and is different from the menu and fx. Don't ask me why. Looks like all available junk is just randomly put inside with every batch. After 2 years of using 3 units, i regret the investment.

Things are tough for sure right now. Try to remember the reasons why you got into filmmaking/etc in the first place! It helps me to watch an old favorite as well. Try not to feel pressure from whats around you. You make your own art on your own schedule!
