It’s been so nice to see Turcotte have success ! I’m very glad we were patient and didn’t trade him out of frustration. I didn’t realize how quick he skates out of the gate. He’s made a lot of great plays and goals because of how quickly he jumps into play.

Let's not get crazy praising Rob Blake too much. Our Kings are an above average team partly based on some free agent luck. He has made some horrible trades, and even worse free agent acquisitions. I am writing this as we are losing to Nashville. We have lost to a bunch of bad teams, and our division is heating up. 3 bad games, and we are in 4th or 5th. Then we will be calling for Blake's head.

The offseason acquisitions have worked out, but Blake is still responsible for this roster that is headed for another first round showdown with Edmonton with little hope to advance. The roster is starting to remind me of San Jose for all those years. Flourishes during the regular season and finding a way into the playoffs, but just not built at all for the postseason. Blake needs to go and Luc needs to be in a non operations position or shown the door as well.

Most Kings “fans” are clueless. Fair weather friends is what most of them are…

QB is having a down year it seems. Don't know how many Goals He has so far but i think half of them are empty net Goals.

As harsh as I am sometimes, I’ve been saying / preaching that the kings don’t need any new players , they just need fitness most of all , grit and passion. If you think about it , and really think about it ! What I am about to say ! When the kings match intensity they win ! It doesn’t matter if it’s Vegas , jets , Dallas etc , when the kings try equally as hard they win . When the kings loose we are always pissed at them because it’s always because the git out played that night , it’s never like oh those 3 posts ,or bounces etc . Hopefully hiller is the guy who can get enough fitness and passion enough nights in the post season ,if so we’ll go all the way with what we got !

We’re doing wayyyy better without Trevor Lewis. Plz keep this guy out of the lineup but sadly he’ll be back in when he’s healthy

Sorry but still don’t think Q is living up to expectations, he’s not getting paid to “do other things” he needs to pick up his offensive game. Too many times he looks shaky with the puck, maybe from pressing, either way he needs to start racking up points if the Kings are going to make any real noise this year in the playoffs. - Oliver

Anze is just the latest King to be overlooked/under appreciated by the hockey community. Luc (before he went to Detroit), Dave Taylor, Lubomir Visnovsky, etc....all criminally ignored because they were on the West Coast.

Eddie, ya know, I think I really like Jesse C. He's pensive/thoughtful in everything he says. And you can tell he's been watching most members of the team and his thoughts seem to cover most everything. Furthermore, though (at my age) I am loathe to backtrack on sentiments experienced, I must admit that the 2019 draft is beginning to look like Blake and Luc knew better. For me, I really wanted the Kings to trade their two choices in the first round to get ahold of that 4th selection. I wanted us to get Bowan Byron. But, after his trade to Buffalo, I now realize he might not've been the best choice. I still think he's a terrific player, but I haven't seen enough of his play to truly judge him. And now that Turcotte has been healthy for a few months...who knows? Maybe he'll turn out to be a real steal. Again, I still understand Blake trading Villardi and Iafallow and Rasmus Kupari. Villardi is always gonna be at risk of further injury...and Iafallow rarely scores more than 10+ goals a season. And Kupari...But then there was the #22 pick in 2019: Tobias Bjornfot. They could've packaged #5 with #22 for the #4 pick. I wonder if Colorado was opened to it? Anyway, time is seemingly erasing all questions and we must move on and try to find the good in what remains. Finally, it's really tough to bring up "Q" because it has to be held on to...he was selected over the little German kid. And it's true that Tim Stützle has scored a lot more goals than Byfield. But Byfield is a big guy and he really has become a far stronger defensive player. Tim Stützle? I'm thinking Marcel Dionne-1975/'76. Marcel was a nice guy, a top skater/scorer, but a little guy who got bounced around and never won any key playoff series. So, what, Stützle is supposed to be their next Bobby Ryan? Anyway, I say give "Q" another few years. And see how he does if the Kings get on another roll? It could happen. Anyway, if he gets a chance to let go/be himself/not worry about being a black man on a basically white team, he's got the size and a decent team around him, so give him a chance. Imagine how really bad things could be...we could still have the mouth...sean avery...in the locker room! Good Show, Eddie and Jesse. Go Kings Go! <that means GO to Phily and beat hell out those flyers!>

Boy, the interview had to go deep for me to find points of agreement. 1. Garvikof must stay. When Doughty comes back, there's no need for our "workhorse" to play 28 minutes a game... let's ease him back. Put DD on the 2nd defensive line. 2. We all love our top line, and although we have balanced scoring, and Laferriere is showing promise - The Kings need a proven SNIPER to make us a 2 line team not a top line team. As far a QB, ahhh Fk, I'm not waisting any more keystrokes or time on that guy.

Fix the GD PP Kings! Sick and fuqing tired of awful entries and losing half of the PP time going back and just trying to enter the zone. Most of the other NHL teams don't have this same problem! Part of the exact reason the Kings PP is so abysmal.

Before the game, Pittsburgh scratched one of their top defenseman from the lineup. I swore it was going to be another 5-1 route, but once again, the Kings managed to play down to the competition and wound up pulling defeat from the jaws of victory. Kudos to Kopi and Kempe, as well as Darcy Kuemper. Side note: two nights ago I watched the Panthers / Oilers game. Great game. The Kings should get this game and watch it before playing the Oilers, because the Panthers gave everyone a blueprint on how to beat Edmonton. A must see.

While I've never called Byfield a bust and we all hope that Quinton turns a corner, I'm not putting much here that this was the game that will have triggered it. The Rangers were a mess defensively throughout this game. It really is easy to see why they have lost as many games as they have recently with their display of hockey played in this game.

Gavi is worth the 5.5 thats been reported. Minute munching. Playing offhand, dependable and can chip in a couple more points than previously advertised.

Byfield is fine. As long as he puts up assists, he gets points. It's a working progress defensively, but he is learning. Some fans are just nitpicking because he re-signed a huge contract extension before this season.

Foegle, Jeanot, and Byfield has been the best line for the last 3 to 4 weeks.
