Hi! Thanks for your comment. You create them, you can make any detail really. Most of the components are lines, fills and objects like the CI tool for details. My recommendation is to always paste the manufacturer's details around the one you want to create, and then make your own custom details. Another good advice is to use favourites with information already inside their ID, then just use labels or keynotes to add texts to your details. Excellent question! Everyone will tell you that archicad is not made to copy complete models between different files, but the secret is the following: turn on all the layers, don't use any graphic override, or any renovation tool, don't use any setting that filter your model like show core walls etc, then select all the information on sea level and ground them, then go to ground floor and do the same, group all the information, them the first floor and so on, and the last step is to go on a 3D view and group all the 3D. Now everything is linked between each other element, now go to ground floor for example and copy your model, then open a new file and paste the model, make sure you have the same stories settings and you are in the same ground floor. And that's it. Is not very straightforward but in this way you can brake the software and make it work for you. Hope this helps, otherwise I'll create another video showing the whole process. Cheers

Glad that opened your mind a bit more to graphic overrides, they are amazing! you can standardize all the drawing's style just by creating rules, so instead of changing fills, lines, pens, etc, you create rules that apply to these elements and then you can have different types of plans, for example, you can show plans in color for a presentation with the client, or light gray if you want to show plumbing or highlight the slabs for a slab plan. Hope I can make a tutorial about this, as I'm full of work, I can just spend a bit of my time on this youtube channel. Cheers!

Thanks for your message, you can manage all your styles with the Graphic Override Combinations, located in the bottom right corner of Archicad, there you can create rules and create any style you want, amazing tool!

But in the meantime, with graphic overrides you can create any style you want, for example, is this case all the furnitures are automatically segmented, or the floors are automatically coloured, etc. Try your own set of overrides and you'll have amazing styles! Hi thanks for your question, I'll try to respond here: Go to label, select ID, and as soon as you are happy with the label that you are going to use then you can create any object or anything, then press Ctrl T go to that element settings, then go to "classification and properties" or just "properties", then in ID change that text with any text you want, then close all. Select the element you created and now go to "document" then to "annotation" and now to "Label Selected Elements" immediately will show the label for that object with the ID that you created. Hope that makes sense, if not I'll create a simple video showing that, cheers!!
