Löwenherz - Gällihore, Kandersteg
The Lionheart route of Gällihore. Superb multipitch route with beautiful backdrop of Altels. 7 pitches.
Difficulty - 6a+, but going by the gut it's a lot more, especially the crux.
The video may be overlong, and I kept the parts where I was struggling as a follower.
A few videos exist of Gälliwandli, but not Löwenherz.

My scariest climb to date. If not for the descent, it would be a wholesome alpine experience. We did not get the final summit due to starting late, and trying to make the last cable car down via hiking path. However, I would discourage doing that, because the path is dangerous even in the best of conditions and extends the worst parts of the climb. What to expect on the way up - runouts, unprot...
Climbing Jura Ep. 4 - Balmflue Sudwand

Balmflue Südwand is one of the routes leading to Balmfluechöpfli. The 9 pitch route requires 5a , but there are variations up to 6a. Climb time was 4 hours, need to account for 1 hour approach and 1.5 hours descent. (7 hrs~ total) Not to be confused with Balmflue Südgrat, which is much longer, at 19 pitches and is the longest climb in Jura ( I have made that mistake before) For link to the topo...

Another nice climb in Jura. We followed Nostalgique/Amicale lines opting for 6b where we can. The route on the pillar may be new and not on the old guidebook.

A great moderate multi-pitch climb in Grandval, near Moutier, Switzerland. 5c , ~5 pitches. For those looking for a bit more challenge, Pic de Cremines nearby is also really good!

From Noiraigue village you can access this horizontal via ferrata, and Areuse river gorges.

The Lionheart route looks absolutely superb! The multipitch climb with the beautiful backdrop of Altels makes it look like an unforgettable experience. Thanks for sharing this incredible adventure! 💕
What is the grade of this climb?
@@serenadevon 10 pitches up to 5b. 3 more 4-5a pitches in the summit which we didn't do. The climbing is not overly technical, but committed.
@Powroti Kandersteg, Berner Oberland, Switzerland The nice blue lake you just see whe leaving the lift is the Ochinensee, with Doldenhorn and Blümlisalp behind (don't get fooled by the silly name, Blümlisalp is all but an easy walk).
