As sweet as every one thinks this is. It's the exact opposite!! You obviously dont know any thing about them or how fast things can turn with an iguanna. I've had them my whole life and there is no way in hell I would ever let them in a babies face like that! I have a 5 year old male now. He is the perfect big boy who can do no wrong an my eyes! But I would never let anyone under the age of 16 around him. Even though I know his body language inside and out he is still an exotic pet and he still has razor sharp teeth that RIP off fingers. So just think what they could do to a baby face! Then not only does the child go through all that trauma the iguanna also gets put down! For protecting itself against a baby he thought was an enemy!! So I dont think this is cute, or funny, or anything else!! I also think the iguanna needs more of a selection in its diet. You can tell this from its color. And you need to find out how his spikes are getting broke off and fix that problem. It is painful for them to lose spikes! It's not like finger nails! More like fingers!!

I rescued two iguanas from a horrible breeder who was just gonna throw them away if no one got them. I ended up getting the last two and gave one to a well experienced friend, but kept the sick one. I spent about $300 on getting my baby forced fed and fluid. Going on two months be has been eating on his own but is still skinny! Turns out he had mites really bad and I didn’t realize it after I was gonna deep clean his cage and wondered on if that caused the weight lose and bruise looking skin. I got rid of them and it’s been two weeks and he’s been going strong. His collar was very dark but now his claws and tummy is turning a bring green. But I wonder if he has scale rot..but I just can’t tell. Any advice of weight gain and other stuff??
