ive probably quit this game at least 12 times in 5 years because of agility lol. the last 9 levels are so brutal its just a game killer. zero reason to train it other than to get max cape.

So you are going for the max cape, presumably because you want the sense of achievement, yet you want the achievement to be easier and thus devalue the skill for yourself and everyone else? That is asinine. The game needs some heterogeneity in the methods and difficulty of skill training otherwise it all just blends together. OSRS is not an AFK simulator. And btw, I don't work at a computer so I can't afk-train video games all day so if anything I'm at a bigger "disadvantage" for skilling, but I'm not complaining and demanding the game change so it suits me better.

I think the appropriate response for everyone when it comes to the elite diaries that require barb assault and pest control is... yeah fk that lmao.

Hey man, I saw you on the SAEBAE cast today. Incredible episode, we are in very similar situations in life. I would love to get into your middle-age series but you don’t have a playlist and I’m not sure where to start. I would really recommend putting all the episodes in a playlist so we can watch them from start to finish, I’m sure a lot of others coming from the cast will feel similar. I know it’s a lot of work but please consider it if you have time.

Afk agility over 1 obstacle (at barb agil) was meta in RuneScape Classic all the way to max xp which was like 530m or w.e not 200. So it's been meta since 2002

I'd rather have 5 quick clicks within the first 20 seconds, then 1 click that takes 40 seconds to finish the course. That way there is an actual Semi AFK in it.

The incentives past 70 are completely skewed towards ironman mode, I think. HS is more engaging than roof tops, but only because it's more shit going on and you have more natural game movement, not just click box and wait. but the rewards... you can easily get the recolor before you hit level 82 agililty. Which isn't to say, up the requirement, but like as a main, i don't really need to stack bolts or herbs. and once I can do sote, i can buy myself an endurance ring. short cuts are only recently better... but like I don't do tree runs any more. I'm not going from draynor to port piscsfisha. versus irons, where stams are self made, or bolts matter. I do enjoy playing my UIM, but it really highlights whats lacking for mains. My Jad KC got easier as I leveled agility (pre updates when I got the pet). I'm rambling. The incentives need to be clearer for mains. give us the chart - in game - how much less damage or stuns we take in pickpocketing. At what level can I run from nex bank to sara door and start a kill above 70% energy? Heck, tiny-tiny chance to attack 1 tick faster at 99. (can you imagine the PKers all hitting agi hard for that ? lol) (the speed runners would have a new RNG to chase. lol the chaos). OSRS is RNG in action, we don't want EOC but how we would we clammer over a 1/10k 1t faster attack cycle.

Definitely not crazy. One of the most loved (and hated) pieces of gear in Rs3 is silverhawk boots, that give you passive agi exp while you do stuff that simply amounts to playing the game. Agi's short term value proposition has always been ass by design because it's so far reaching in its benefit. OSRS could really use something to fill the niche silverhawk did, without forcing players dedicate a gear slot to it until 99 agi.

Heads up for everyone trying this…I was temporarily banned for this as a “bot”. No auto-clicker. All I did was tape my wireless mouse on the bottom so nothing moved and clicked. My account is near maxed and I lost all motivation to play due to the false ban. The appeal was denied as well, so they didn’t check it. (2 or so months ago) Agree with what you said man-agility just sucks.

I think the biggest issue with agility training is just how slow it is... Like, for Ardy Rooftop for example, the XP/hr should be like double what it actually is. 90 agility requirement is insane for how little XP you get. The scaling for high level courses compared to mid level ones is an absolute joke.
