I think a lot has changed in the devkit in 7 years. This is the only tutorial on placeables I can find, but I don't see at all what you see in the viewport. None of the placement boxes are visible, it's just the arrows and it does not show which box is being moved or its position.

how relevant is this tutorial nowadays? i wanted to use this to create a mod until i saw it was made 7 years ago!

Hey @Death2Mongo, could you create some new tutorial videos for Conan Exiles modding? I'm particularly interested in learning how to edit the sandstorm, including adjusting its duration, the area it affects, and triggering events to spawn creature NPCs during sandstorms, not items. Additionally, I'd love tutorials on editing recipes and other aspects of the game that I'm still struggling to understand. Your tutorials have been incredibly helpful, but there are still some aspects I need guidance on. Thanks in advance for your help!

i really would appreciate a more in depth tutorial that doesn't make placeables walk through. i cant pick up said peaceable or anything

I've never mod before, but downloaded the dev kit and found your tutorials shortly there after. I have no desire at this time to add items/equipment to the game. I was more intrigued with trying to figure out how to create a mod that enables thralls to climb walls with the player character, or to swim in water with the player character instead of teleporting around and popping in. Do your tutorials cover anything that may equip me with a bit of knowledge to put me in that direction?

Wish I could use this to make a mod so I can make placeable ruins and dungeon pieces so I can make my own dungeons. If anyone can do this I'd be happy to commission them.

These tutorials seem like an excellent place to learn how to start modding Conan Exiles! I'm curious however, I know the modding has changed quite a bit over the years and was simply curious how much of the info here is still viable. i was excited to try out modding for this game, but can say after a few tries that i wont be modding anything for this game, at least not with the current state of the mod kit. i'm looking forward to future mod kits for future games, as i have hopes of the future mod kits being a little more reliable, but for conan i now instead just have deep respect for those who actually mod, since the mod kit is a true nightmare.

how do i export my project for use in the game ? it's not shown in any of the videos

Does anyone know why all the models for weapons are not present in the item list? Specifically for great axes, there are only like six models available. The great axe of the north does not have the model that can be seen in the game which is really frustrating.

I loved this tutorial. I've been working with the Unreal engine for a few months now and I learned a few things outside of Conan modding. I'm a coder from way back so as you said around 9:00, always make True the default. Remember: "If not is null then don't" makes no sense in development. :D

After 3 years, this is still good information. Thank you so much for these. I'm learning the Unreal engine and this is a cool way to play with stuff.

Can someone please tell me, do I have to re-download the entire UE4 engine? I already work in Unreal so is there a way to download just the Conan addon?

What if you bought Conan Exiles from steam? Can you still get the mod app from Epic Games?

I see this is one of a series of videos. It's there anything in this series about combining mods? For example, if you download a lot of armor or weapon mods, and they overwrite each other's tables, is there a guide for how to "repackage" these groups of mods into a single one where you can make all the tables work together?

I'am searching a lot for a tutorial to make a mod where you can "switch" the playermodel, i mean you use a item like "helmet or breastlpate" and after that you change your "player character model" from human to a bear or whatever. I think a tutorial like this has a lot potenzial. - greets and thx

Fantastic tutorials. Might I suggest you to look into teleportation in Conan and perhaps do a tutorial on that. I've tried to copy existing blueprints but that's too deep for my basic knowledge :D

Hello Death2Mongo. Thank you very much for putting in the time to make this video. I have made some tutorial videos for Fallout 4 so I know how much time they can take. I am trying to get my weapon mesh into Conan Exiles but I can't find a step by step tutorial on how to do it. I tried to follow yours but since its not a weapon I am not sure of what to do with certain things. Do you have a tutorial on how to do this or know of where I can go to? Any help that you can offer would be fantastic.
