Eating a plant-based diet and living a plant-based lifestyle has been the best change in my life. The challenge was learning how to eat this way every day and while I'm still discovering amazing ingredients and cooking methods, my hope is to help others see how simple cooking in the plant-based world can be.
Try making this Polish krokiety (croquettes) 🇵🇱
Have you ever tried Polish krokiety? Nothing would have prepared me for how delicious this dish was.
I packed it with @OldWorldQualityFoods Sauerkraut, onions, and mushrooms, and it was a flavor 💣💥of umami!

🧑🍳Krokiety with mushrooms and sauerkraut🇵🇱
Crepe Batter:
1 cup flour
1 cup oat milk
2 eggs (or use Vegan egg replacement)
1/2 cup water
1 pinch of salt
1 tsp of sugar
Filling:
1.5 cups of sauerkraut
16 oz. crimini mushrooms
2 tablespoons of butter
1 onion
1 tsp of salt
1 tsp of pepper
Breading:
1/2 cup panko mix
1 egg (or use Vegan egg replacement)
frying oil
1. Whisk all your batter ingredients together until smooth. Set pan on low-med. heat and add 1 tsp of oil. Add a ladle of batter and swirl pan for an even sheet. Cook for 30 seconds on both sides of crepe.
2. Mince mushrooms and onions and add to a bowl with sauerkraut. Heat pan on medium with a tbsp of oil. Add all ingredients and cook down until most of the moisture is gone. Add butter and salt & pepper to taste.
3. Fill your crepe sheets with mushroom and sauerkraut filling. Roll like a burrito and lay down on seam to hold in place. Dip into flour, egg, then panko and set aside for frying
4. Heat frying oil over medium-low heat and shallow fry Krokiety until golden brown on each side (1-2 minutes/side). Serve, and enjoy!

Mie Sedapp underrated, the best in the world.
Smoothies are another easy dish as well and at least in the EU it’s pretty safe to consume most peels as well So you wash and cut the fruits into reasonable chunks, add anything else you want to use and voilà You can chug your stomach full in a moment and just rinse the equipment

As an avid proponent of Mie Sedaap, I'd say it leans more into the 'comfort food' zone for me. When I want Mie Sedaap, no other instant noodle can satisfy the craving. But Indomie is good anytime and everytime, which is a strong plus for me (Except when I want the former, lol).

just dont add the eggplant, it's for kare kare. Caldereta only has potato, peppers and carrots simmered with tomato and liver sauce, plus your choice of protein
