Wagashi is the best❤. I personally don't even like when people eat noodles because it doesn't have the ASMR anymore maybe you can search things you like on search button of youtube instead of wasting time saying this on someone's video who is working hard to upload satisfying videos for their wagashi ASMR viewers.

Ah, I totally get you! 😅 I couldn't find any where I live either, so I decided to try making them myself - and honestly, I couldn’t believe how fun (and delicious) it turned out! 😄 Sometimes making it yourself is the best way to go, especially if you’re craving something unique! If you're interested, I can share the recipe I used! 🫶

Thank you so much! 😊 I'm so glad you like the watermelon ones! The recipe is really simple: First, we need to prepare the white bean paste before moving on to the next step. To make 250g of White Bean Paste, you’ll need: 100g Lima Beans 90g Sugar A pinch of salt Water Soak the Lima beans overnight, peel them, then cook with water until tender. Blend with a little water to create a smooth paste. Add the sugar and salt to a pan, stir, and cook until it thickens. Next, we make the Nerikiri dough for Wagashi: 200g white bean paste (prepared) 10g glutinous rice flour 1 tbsp water Food coloring First, mix the glutinous rice flour and water well, then microwave for 30 seconds. Take it out and knead with a wet spoon. Microwave again for another 30 seconds, stir well, and cover with plastic wrap. Next, place the 200g of white bean paste (shiroan) in the microwave for 30 seconds. Stir, then return it to the microwave for another 30 seconds. Repeat this process 5 times or until the paste is slightly dried and hot. Now, add the glutinous rice dough and combine well. Knead the dough with a wet cotton cheesecloth until smooth and firm. For the watermelon ones, I use green and pink food coloring with black sesame seeds for the "seeds." Hope you enjoy making them!

To make the sauce itself and achieve the right liquid consistency, here's how I do it: Ingredients: 1 Tbsp olive oil 4-5 cloves of minced garlic 1-2 Tbsp smoked paprika 1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning 1 Tbsp Gochujang sauce (optional) 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp dried parsley 1/8 tsp black pepper 50g unsalted butter Instructions: Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant. Stir in the smoked paprika, Old Bay seasoning, salt, dried parsley, and black pepper. Let the spices cook for about 1 minute to release their flavors. Add the Gochujang sauce (if using) and stir to combine. I like to add Gochujang to help thicken the sauce and add a sweet, spicy flavor, but it's optional if you prefer a different base. Melt the unsalted butter in the pan and mix it into the spices, creating a rich, smooth sauce. For the desired liquid consistency, add a little water or broth (optional) to thin the sauce to your liking.
