Born and raised on the small island of Curaçao, Chaika made her first upload to Soundcloud in 2015 with the goal to focus on her solo career after singing back up in a local reggae band. Mostly doing cover songs, Chaika was thriving to write her own lyrics and dropping her own music. Chaika released her first debut single “Abo Mi Ke” featuring Mason, in 2016 making that the most controversial song of the year. Being the only female performing artist in the Urban scene at that time, she conquered the hearts of thousands, being a self-love and body positivity advocate. Encouraging men and women to embrace and appreciate all that they are. The way she experiments with sounds, she developed the craft of creating unique productions. Unlocking sweet and sexy lyrics and elements paired with candy coated beats, making it all relatable and mostly enjoyable for fans.
