That's not wind... I had more wind after last night's Bacon and Beans. That's a dead calm day in Wellington NZ... We may not play once it gets over 50kph (31mph) but I have at least once... (And I have a disk (Mr Broken) that I can throw Anhyzer into that wind yet STILL not turn it over... (It's not just Beef, It's the whole Herd). The highest gust of wind ever recorded in Wellington, 248km/h The average wind speed at Wellington Airport, 29km/h (Chicago's average 18km/h) In Wellington's windiest year, the number of days winds topped gale-force speed... 233 Normally, winds reach gale force (75kmph) an average of 175 days a year. They built a Zephyrometer in Evans Bay, 26m tall needle on a gimbal. It was struck by lightning. (Video of the strike was captured by Solomon Emet, viewable on TH-cam. The sculpture was restored but the new needle was of a lighter material which caused the sculpture to bend very low in extremely windy conditions. Additional weight had to be added to the counterbalance. (I personally saw it near horizontal and it sits within reach of a main road to the airport and it's pivot is only about 15ft high) Of course the earthquakes are just as much fun.. .If it's not over 4 it didn't really happen... You know your in Wellington when you know a tourist by their inverted umbrella while you sit in Starbucks discussing whether that was a 4 or a 4.5 (rather than cowering under a bench). In the last "Major" Earthquake (250k away from the city) "Statistics House" partially collapsed (7.8 magnitude Kaikōura earthquake November 14, 2016) What was the chance of that... Guess we'll never know)

Dunno if you've checked them out, but the JB Z FLX Comets have the stability for winds. They've pretty much got the glide of a Comet, the turn resistance of the Buzzz, and the fade of the Wasp.

The unique back entrance for the discs is quite nice for raining conditions as well. Rain doesnt come inside your bag room as much as if the «normal» entrance is open. :)

A lot of the new runs of M4 are quite stable brand new. Also if you get your hands on a higher grade plastic A5 like 750 or luke humphries your series they are board flat and money for dead straight forehands.

The comet is such a great disc. Only thing i bag from discraft. The crank and nuke ss are great roller discs too.

luna, 2 zones, comet, 2 raptors, anax, zeus, hades, venom I never realized how much discraft I bag. Garden Grove is a great course to showcase the comet though that course has some tough lines

Zone, Buzzz, Buzzz SS, Vulture

Bagging a Zone (Ti FLX), 2 Comets (ESP & Z), and a Zeus (ESP) from Discraft. The Comet reminds me to take the game less seriously and sit back and enjoy its flight. I like it in the woods since you can power down for better accuracy, and the blunt nose can be forgiving. You were snapping 'em pretty good, so I bet you'd hit more gaps and barely lose any distance by powering down.

Sometimes I have more fun when I play the most tragic disc golf of my career 😂

I bag two Krakens, a Kapre and a Golem. The MaxGrip kraken starts more stable but quickly beats into very flippy. The MaxLife kraken is my favorite driver (I like domey drivers), and starts slightly understable and just stays there. The MaxLife Kapre has a bit of turn with power, but always finishes strong. The Golem gets me out of jail and keeps me safe on sketchy greens. I have thrown the Minotaur in MaxGrip, it's domey but quite over stable and makes a great utility disc. I have a Kraken and Minotaur in MaxFlex coming that I can't wait to try. For reference I throw 300-315'. I started with Divergent and tell everyone I can about them. I do wish MaxGrip had a little more life to it, I would throw it for more molds.
