    There were a lot of people in media that did wrong that day and that week. I still blame Bubba in part too you know. But NASCAR the Media likewise did a terrible job in jumping to conclusions.

    Looks like there's a big chunk of missing footage from 4:30:56 to 4:39:50, then a smaller one from 4:41:22 to 4:42:20. Otherwise, this is a really good find.

    Thank you for not editing out the commercials. I love when people upload old NASCAR content and leave the commercials in. It’s like a time capsule of the era.

    Thanks for archiving all this SPEED NASCAR programming! I can't thank you enough for preserving history in this way. I wish all the broadcast and media companies did a better job archiving their programming. I look forward to seeing what else is in your archives, and I hope the door is open for uploading material from other networks and maybe even other motorsports or automotive shows.

      Even though we live in the age of streaming and the Internet, I think SPEED could have still thrived in 2024 had it continued. I think it would be both an extremely viable TV network and online outlet.

    I never seen this footage of qualifying before. One of those rare clips. It’s really amazing how well the Front Row Motorsports guys did that day by fixing and pulling Chad’s car and Chad was able to get the #61 Car in the Sylvania 300.

    just because someone was in it dosent mean they caused it. you keep rambling about the indy crash and saying "ohh theres big drivers involved in that, its clearly same." but the truth is, quin houff is 100% responsible for that completely stupid mistake, as well as spinning out in half the other races this year.

  • @MLGProSwag69
    @MLGProSwag69 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Quin Houff is crashing at a below average rate for a 22 year old Cup driver, however he has the highest terminal crash rate in the series. His average finish is 3.2 positions lower than Cassill's, however, his average start is only 1.4 positions lower, and his luck on the starting grid drawings have been below the expected average for all drivers of 6.5 Not saying I agree with Brock or that I agree with the twitter mob, just trying to provide lesser known stats to Quin's 2020 season so people can make more informed opinions

    Thank you for not jumping to conclusions like a few other Nascar related channels and painting everyone who questioned this as racists.

    Nascar management is to blame. Especially Steve Phelps in particular.

  • @chasee3797
    @chasee3797 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    You hit it right on the dot Brock. Media is at fault in this case and Bubba shouldn’t be to blame for this. It isn’t fair to him, his team, or the sport.

    • @flamike217
      @flamike217 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Management of the sport is to blame as is Bubba. Steve Phelps cried to him (literally) about the so called "noose" and him driving a BLM car which is a borderline terrorist organization. They are both to blame and owe alot of fans apologies for painting people racist with a broad brush.

    • @chasee3797
      @chasee3797 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@flamike217 BLM is not a terrorist organization. Phelps was just informing Bubba on the situation. There was alot of overreaction and blowing things out of proportion in the media's case and I see them as a majority of the problem. And I say all the time, I'm not black and I can't imagine what it is like in society to be a black person. It's time we look at them as normal and not gang members or criminals. The media members should apologize for spreading something that wasn't at all confirmed yet. But then again rises the issue of this pull rope was the only one in the garage that looked like a noose.

    • @flamike217
      @flamike217 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@chasee3797 It was not the only Knot in the garage of the sort. BLM are borderline terrorist and the leadership are self described Marxist. We should be treating everyone equal no matter what shade of skin they have. Those groups want anything but equality.

    Kyle Busch & Dale Jr have both commented saying that the sponsors have said to them, that they have no interest in sponsoring a nobody unless they do a race for the sponsor. not saying it’s good, but sponsors have the teams in a tight spot

    • @bcschneider53
      @bcschneider53 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dale Jr. isn't a full-time Cup driver anymore. I see his Xfinity races as more like an Elliott Sadler or Justin Allgaier deal. If you want to make the Xfinity Series your home, that's fine. But Buschwacking for fun only hurts the series regulars whether they're up-and-comers or not. Crafton and Sauter have sponsors too...

  • @bcschneider53
    @bcschneider53 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Let me say this, I don't blame Kyle Busch, Harvick, Keselowski, Logano, or the drivers. They have the right to race limited schedules. More power to them. The blame falls 1000% on NASCAR themselves in my humble opinion. Buschwacking needs to be done away with. Scott Dixon never races Indy Lights. Lewis Hamilton never races F2. LeBron never plays in the G League. Aaron Judge never bats in Triple-A. Why should Kyle Busch race in Xfinity and Trucks?

  • @bcschneider53
    @bcschneider53 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    At least now the people that tell us "We only don't like it when Kyle Busch does it" will now see that that's not the case...
