May I know the part numbrer for your free spining wheel? Thanks!
51488 / 56908
May I know the lego part number for the non driving wheel? The one without tire. Thank you very much!
51488 / 56908. The wheels from an ev3 kit.
@@nextlevelteacher Thank you very much!
we had to return home several times in order to “bank” those points from one or two challenges instead of attempting several challenges in one run. We did this because if the starting point wasn’t exact then the whole run was off and we also lost precision points for having to grab the robot off the course.
How do I get the advanced codes
You can download a copy of the gyro straight code here- nextlevelteacher.com/fll/
I don't understand how you have 5 cables which connected to the robot 1 for the camera down and 2 for the wheels and you have 4 gear's spot while you only have 2 more cables connect to the robot (2 engines left) happy for you answer my question😊
Using gears, you can have one motor that has multiple connection points (e.g. top and front).
what happen if you put the hub vertical instead of horizontal, the gyro will still work?
Can you show the code of this
hi, tutor in robot please
tutor please in robot
Can you send a picture of this code so we can see the full version

The Track-X design is fantastic. We’ve designed some great attachments using the frame instructions. The only problem is getting hold of the bloody parts! I would love to learn more about the use of my blocks to do gyro control.
Hey I encountered this bug today for my proportional gain turn code I shared via airdrop! I’m hoping creating a new project and just typing the code out fixes this issue. WHATS EVEN WORSE IS IT AFFECTS THE ORIGINAL CODE USED TO SHARE TOO!!
Omg
Hello, thank you for the wonderful educational videos, we learned a lot. Can you please suggest the best method to align the robot before each mission? We have 90deg zig to align the robot with reference to the corner lines on the mat, but for young kids it takes time and with multiple missions a lot of time is wasted in alignment alone. We thought of using the wall of the board but the thought of if the mat is not flushed to the wall at the event then our alignments will be wrong, prevented us from using the wall of the board. Please advise what you use for alignments.
I find just using the table wall and the black lines on the mat the easiest. Also trying to use the same lineup spot where possible helps the team remember under pressure! Just check the mat is in the correct position before the match begins. You can ask the ref to fix it if needed.
@nextlevelteacher Thank you
Another clarification: Is it allowed to use other wheels than those come in the spike prime package?
Any LEGO branded pieces can be used.
U can also use an advanced PID controller or Gyro sensor! i love this video btw! It gives alot of information!!
42mm wheels ordered. Look forward to trialing out Track X soon. Love your content 👌
We have a similar square modular design. Mid sized blue wheels in the back, those big grey rims in the front. We’re having a big problem with accuracy. Even with a turn by gyro code, the turns are ruining some of our runs. It always sounds like those big rims in the front are dragging against the mat, causing inaccuracy. Why don’t they do that for yours?
We have a slightly different design but faced a similar issue. When driving with the blue wheels at the back the robot drove dead straight (2 pulley wheels at the front) however it created some drag when turning. To fix this we just reversed the robot for any runs that required multiple turns so the blue wheels were always at the front. Not always practical but worked well for us - good luck!
I have found that having the drive wheels at the front suit this robot design, particularly when a heavy attachment is added. The attachment adds weight, pushing the wheels down, creating more traction. Whereas having the weight pushing the secondary wheels down opposed to the driving wheels can cause problems when turning.
Good quality vid. Liked.
In the web I can’t see the middle one why ?
I just met with my team today and none of them listened to me lol
Hi where can i buy the instructions
Our team name is the mana-bots
We were in fourth place in this season and its my first year
How can I get all these attachments
We are completely new to FLL. Can you pick up an object that has been pushed into home base? For example: can you pick up the krill and put it in a bucket attachment to feed the whale, provided the robot brings the krill to home base?
Yes! It is a good strategy to bring items back to base so you can pick them up.
@nextlevelteacher does that also include the shark once it has been pushed off the platform and off the mat?
@@cabinkate6672 yes
It does not count if you push the mast over like that, it must be upright.
Do you know why my code makes my robots sway left and right when i push the side then go back to org.? How do i fix it any help will be greatly appreciated
Is it caused by the values being to high also why after I push it several times it no longer responds to straighten
I cant see the full code
I've been doing that this year and the team has become more quality over quantity. We really hammer home the final product before we switch.
isn’t that going to be above height limit though?
The height limit only applies during inspection. After that, there is no height limit.
We have alrady had the competisjon snd it was so fun. We dint win evrything but we won 3 on the stand and 2 on the robot competisjon. My sister and her team won first on the robot competisjon. They where in usa last year.
Ohhh
Can you maybe show a tutorial on the attachment your team is using?
Yo, I saw some of this before at Maker Faire FL years ago. I love to see this still going!
What LEGO kits have u used??
Spike with a few extras
Can u please share the Can u plss share the steps or make a video on how to make the attachment you made for collection of CORALS & KRILLS?? I have my FLL championship coming up...I need it!!!🙏🏻🙏🏻

its easy, just create a box shape, then add beams going down, and a beam that stops them from going backwards (search up one-way gate)
@xPlayer150 thanks 👍

I have absolutely zero idea what this is about, but it looks so cool (someone please explain)
this is about a tournament called First Lego League (FLL)
It is a competition using robots (with lego) and technic lego coding
Thank you both
Hi, whats the size of the wheel?
Wheel 43.2mm D. x 18mm - Flush Axle Stem with Black Tire 62.4 x 20 S (86652 / 32019)
How do you move your movements and attachments motors at the same time ??
what set is the wheel from
where can I find the plans to build this attachment?
Do you give all instructions and codes for that missions in your course?
For previous seasons, we provide building instructions for the example videos.
This bug seems to mostly occur in block programming. However it seems to not do that if you code in python. I'm not sure why but it seems as if the compiler is more direct when executing a python code whereas the block code has to compile the code first into what spike understands which is micropython.
my guess: while programming with FBs there will be a hidden table with local variables. If you copy just your FBs instead of duplicating the whole thing you missout on your locally defined parameters. BTW: In my days in the FLL it wasnt allowed to use c++ or python allthough everyone knew it was more efficient.
😍😍😍😍😍😍👏👏👏👏
I actually tried a similar design and it was great
on your website i annot find instructions for this robot
