Chat with May Pang
มุมมอง 2.5K8 หลายเดือนก่อน
May Pang and I discuss memories from the house in Malibu, our trip across the US and other tidbits.
Somewhere around here I have a picture of Nan sleeping on a couch.
Without Mick Ronson David Bowie would've been Angie Bowie's personal assistant.
May Pang must of been in love with John to remember all the things that they went through
It's good to hear from your friends who have been in the right track for you and that they have been good friends for years, I have to say that may have been on the right track for some time now
hillary clinton? the dixie mafia?
I could sit and listen to Suzi's stories for hours. She is fascinating! I live in New York, I would love to meet her and get an autographed copy of her book. Mick always had a cigarette in his hand. 😢
Suzi Ronson is such a down to earth lovely woman. I can see how Mick Ronson fell in love with her.
glad no mention of penny....
She was the Pisces child running wild....I gave her my name....in Peters..song ..Dont Fade Away...Framptons Camel 1973..🐪

Hi Chris ! I love your Show. I’m learning a lot from you and your guest. I’m 68 and always been a Beatle fan but know very little about the women in there lives. I never knew that Patty had 2 beautiful sisters, I want to know more about you also. Your so Cute 😊 Thanks
I’d be honoured to meet you, Pattie. You’re absolutely stunning and outrageously funny 😂😂😂😂 You are one of my style icons! Though I was born in1961. I’m obsessed with any Ossie Clarke dresses, I’ve attempted to buy one here nearly got one,,,,,but then online I’m living in Canada the price goes up over $300 .00 Dollars so ok out of my budget lol ) we don’t though I adore antique clothes love them always did The Clapton painting I’d buy ! But I get what you’re saying though. How about I buy you a Pattie ! Ok British humour back at you❤❤I’m 1/2 UK - 1 2 Canadian. Why don’t you take you things to a proper museum Pattie? My humble opinion. Ps your glasses are groovy .
So fun to watch you interview Patty, I’m 68 and a big Beatles fan since I was little. I’ve always been fascinated with Patty her beauty and her story. I’ve watched a few videos TH-cam, and you Popped up so now I’m researching you Chris. I never knew who you were, I’m following you now. Thank You Chris 😊
Love Pattie! What a life she has! Married to George and Eric! She looks fabulous with those glasses ❤❤❤

So many memories. Takes me back to when Iived in LA. Living in Venice Beach, Latigo Canyon in Malibo. Even lived a short time in the Chatue Marmont on Sunset blvd. Always with the music and always on the far fringe of where you were.
Really enjoyed this chat, Chris & Patricia! Thanks for sharing your precious memories! Love and best from Toronto, Canada! xo
Your memories are golden! Really enjoyed listening to them.
Well done on getting these interviews and putting on the record eyewitness accounts from women who played a major role in the music industry. And the culture of the 1960’s and 1970’s. For too long this was all hidden history and I’m glad this is now preserved for future generations to look at.
Love these videos!
Yes the British Music Fans. Did know and love P.P. Arnold. We often saw her backing Dusty Springfield. She had a few hits in GB. Thoroughly enjoying your Videos. Would love to meet you the next time your in London. A Beatle Nut. Brought everything. Their albums & Solo Vinyl takes up a whole room xXx
Great show, ladies! Hey Patricia!
Trisha is so nice! Thanks!
This was wonderful!
Read 'Wifedom' by Anna Funder if you want to hear about artists 'forgetting' their wives' influence. Eileen O'Shaughnessy, an amazing writer and poet, George Orwell's first wife, had a dreadful life supporting him in appalling circumstances, going to Spain during the civil war before he did and being much more involved than he was, coming up with the idea of '1984', and much, much more. And she gets no mention - it was all me, me, me... it was ever thus.
What an an amazing life you have lived Miss O Dell
What band plays the intro music, is it Humble Pie?
Nice chat, ladies! I saw Peter live about 3-4 times the past 12 years or so. The first time I went was in Baltimore and he was doing the Frampton comes alive album in its entirety for the 40th anniversary and I thought I would show up just to pay some respect to an old guitar player and about halfway through the first song I said to myself “this guy is serious. Dead serious.” I was utterly amazed at the way he played at these late dates. It is something I will never forget. I hope he is doing as well as possible. I know that he has a nerve affliction as do I now. It’s very hard to do anything when you’re attacked in this fashion physically and I’ve seen him play some acoustic shows recently, so I hope that bodes well for him moving forward. I was genuinely upset when I found out he was sick. Very nice show Chris! ❤
Great chat. More stuff I didn't know 😊
I look forward to all your chats on utube. You have the most interesting stories and your guests are my rock idols, strong, intelligent women. Hope your followers help you through your very sad times. I know your chats have helped me, by giving me something to look forward to especially when I'm not feeling that great. Love to reminisce on those FAB times!,
You girls were so blessed to come of age in such a great time in history. It seems like eons ago now, but you were the first group of women to have the freedom that The Pill gave you. You also helped bring the influence of ‘the East’ into popular culture.
Love this x
Enjoyed!
Hey, Mary, I have my Mary Frampton & Friends Rock and Roll Recipes Cookbook here. So nice to see you! Hello from Tucson!
