The video shows fancy insulated hoses. Mine came with plastic Flintstones hoses. i read reviews that said you have to insulate them or the heat exit tube gets so hot it defeats the purpose of the a/c. If that is the design, why am i not charged $30 more for insulated hoses?

I assume you have to remove the screen from the window due to heat issues?

Can i attach this to plexyglass and cut out the holes with a jigsaw to get it to fit my window? I assume plexiglass has to be same thickness or more to prevent intrusion and maintain security.

Hello all, Just like @theBlackBeltPanda mentioned, I initially never got past the "Linking to Cloud" app-window. HOWEVER, I've succesfully connected it to my mobile-hotspot (easy name/ easy password without special characters). Also on an easy Guest network. Going to raise a ticket, cause this is really odd and bad for consumers.

This was our exact issue, the installer was slamming the top plastic trim holding the magnetic sensor in and it fell out. I was able to fix it and enjoy my new fridge. Thanks Hisense!

How to store?

Tried to let it self clean the oven for the first time and the temp said it got up to over 600 degrees. It shut off with an error code. Melted the majority of my seasonings i had near it.

It's true this doesn't work for me either. When I hold down on the "connect" button for a long time, nothing happens.

Our unit did not have the slots in the cabinet for the side curtains. They did have a rail to be attached to the cabinet to slide the side curtains in however they didn’t provide screws for these rails for sure does not have their shit together if you guys want these units, you are an idiot.

I think maybe the people that make these videos out to know what the hell they’re doing before they make them what a joke

Agreed. Also have this cooling problem, food getting spoilt. Hisense fridge is problematic. Not recommended.

Have the double tube version. Window gap is 35 inches. Had to use an angle grinder to cut one of the plates down to size. After that it worked perfectly. Super cool.

this is possibley one of the worst AC units i have ever purchased. It odesn't obey the commands from the digital switches. would be better off buy any Analogue device. Do not give this factory your business ever again.

AI forgot to mention that the unit has to be sloped downward slightly, (the outside of the unit has to be lower than the inside), so that the accumulated water will drain to the outside of the room.
