One of my fav vans-ya’ll inspired a lot of my build!! I just finished my van and now doing touch ups, couple questions- how did ya’ll attach the curtain rod? What was ya’lls process for painting? I feel like my paint job on all of my walls and cabinets looks so bad and not smooth and I even have some parts of the wood that are peeling and not sure how to cover it all up with paint. I have some gaps in the walls as well and areas that may need siding-do ya’ll have any tips on that? Thank you so much!!

I started car dwelling literally around the same time you guys started van life! Felt so cool watching someone else start this new crazy chapter too! Do these drawers ever fly open when driving? Do you have some extra lock mechanism?

I’m also doing a dinette. The only thing that makes me nervous about this is the Pex tubing under the subfloor. What if you have a leak🫣

I like the versatility of the Unistrut and thought about using that in my van build as well. But I opted for a roof rack because I'm staying away from drilling any holes in my roof. That's where your Unistrut setup is sweet - great job! I have a Chevy Express, so there are other variables inside and out to work with. I have a Renogy 200-watt panel on my roof, but the only way I can add one additional panel is to remove a small cargo basket next to my existing panel. That may be an option like you did just to keep my batteries supplied! Nice clean job!
