Nah kuro confirmed that the ban accounts are not because of the coop event. Some people say the accounts that got ban are from sea servers who bought accounts from 1.1 version. They bought it from 3rd party sellers.

Yeah, I pretty much barely play HSR, it just costs more than all the other gachas I play. I DONT like my favorite characters becoming unusable, I dont mind them being weaker then new units but I won't tolerate them becoming worthless. That's just a waste of my time playing this game.

I say in the future the will be relics and 4 star characters who will help old units a lot.

Hi3 player: First time? Jokes aside, what you are asking for is basically hi3. the weapon banner has no 50/50 and is 60 pulls. The character banner was reduced from 100 to 90 but also has no 50/50. To keep old characters relevant they are releasing divine keys (weapons) that you can pull for that has the new multipliers and new astral ring buffs that part 1 units don't have. This is hoyo strategy. Be careful what you wish for. Cause while this may sound good on paper, its heavily debated in the community. each pull is 2800. to guarantee your self the character and their weapon, you need 44k xtals. A character is unusable without their gear (stigmata) and their sig weapon. If you don't have their weapon, you may as well just leave them on the bench until you get it. Its not all bad though, you can craft their gear (stigmata), and you are definitely guaranteed what you want if you have enough xtals. Oh did i forgot to mention that your character loses viability by the next patch? Reruns are frequent, but if you pull on a rerun you effectively brick your account LOL you have to keep pulling new units to stay competitive. Oh thats another thing, its competitive, very competitive! the end game content requires you to have SS characters to even compete. The devs recently said that hi3 and hsr are being connected much more as we head into the future. So i wouldn't discount this information too fast. This is not genshin. This is Honkai. If you thought you were getting genshin with turn based instead of Action, you were horribly mistaken.

Imma be real, I think a lot of yall are just spoiled by Genshin. Genshin is just utterly stagnant when it comes to powercreep, where legit if someone had 2 decently built teams from 2-3 years ago they could probably come back and still full clear abyss. That isnt healthy for a game. If you can go 2 years without pulling a single character or making a single improvement to your team and still are able to preform as well as when you first built the team, I would say thats a sign of bad game design. Anyways, I'm of the opinion that the current rate of powercreep is perfectly healthy for the game, as even almost 2 years later characters from 1.0 can still clear content with reasonable investment.

The things you propose are good. The problem is, those are good for the user. They think first from company perspective. Is better to create fomo and powercreep to continue cuz even if f2p players will leave , the probability of the ones that soend to leave the game is less cuz they are hooked in it already. That's why hoyo games make the most money cuz they keep you hooked and create fomo so you spend.

Ok, don't take my comment as me being mean, your account is your account and you do whatever you want with your pulls However, with the power creep talk, I look at your teams and I can see why you are struggling (again, this is going to sound mean possibly, it's not my intention) your feixiao team has hunt march robin and aventurine, which is nice, that's one of the good teams for feixiao, I'm not going to comment about LCs, because I don't know who is s1 and who isn't, I'm assuming however that everyone is e0. While your feixiao team is good I would consider pulling for topaz on an eventual rerun or maybe even pulling for robin e1 and/or s1 if you don't have it then there was the acheron team, don't know how fast you managed to clear with that team, however you have kafka and welt in your acheron setup, kafka has moments that she isn't doing damage due to the lack of DoT characters and welt can delay actions, which is nice, however, again, he is not doing much in terms of damage. If you had a pela she would be able to reduce the enemy's defenses by a good ammount (around 40% def shred at max level, 50% if you have pearls, I think), with pearls pela would also be sp positive and still give your acheron 1 stack per basic atk, then instead of welt maybe consider guinaifen, again, she can inflict debuffs with her basic atk, so she can be sp positive and her passive gives you an extra 12% dmg bonus to enemies with 3 firekiss (4 if you have e6) stacks. This way your "supports" are still not doing much in terms of damage but give your acheron much more stacks and a bunch of buffs so her ultimates deal huge damage. If you have some supports like robin or sunday (especially if you have e1) you can also consider using them in place of a nihility, yes, even with e0, you lose that 1.6x dmg mulitplier, but the buffs robin and sunday give are substantial in making up for the lost damage. Also, if you want to use acheron I would really pull for jiaoqiu on his eventual rerun, I also didn't pull jiaoqiu due to wanting e2 feixiao and my acheron has been suffering since, however I still manage to 3/4 cycle clear MoC12 with enough strategy Also, star rail is a game of management, I think you mentioned it, the gap between higher levels of play and standard levels of play is not that wide, so you being able to clear end game content doesn't really have much to do with your gameplay strategy, more like your investment strategy What I mean by that is, I like feixiao, I love her lore, character design and gameplay style, so I decided to invest on her, I got her e2, so she is future proof for the next year or 2 or maybe even more, I plan on upgrading my robin to e1s1 and my topaz to e1s1 as well to further boost my feixiao team's damage so she can continue to reliably 2/3 cycle content Also I plan on pulling for the herta so I saw all current teams, I personally don't like jade so I went and saw if therta is still viable without her current BiS partner and she is, she works quite well with little herta and serval, so I built my little herta and pre-farmed for big herta, I have my team ready for when she releases, I know this team is capable of clearing the current end game content and when new and better teammates for big herta release I will be pulling them to boost her damage to keep using her So what I would suggest for you for example for your acheron team, either take out acheron for black swan and run a kafka team or take kafka for black swan and welt for pela, if you don't have black swan take kafka off the team for pela and welt off for guinaifen, if you don't have them built you're cooked for now, but just farm builds for those 2 characters, guinaifen's build can go for jiaoqiu once he has his rerun and at least for now there's not really anyone who could substitute pela for her utility, unless you have e2 acheron, in which case you're better off with just jiaoqiu and a hypercarry support either way For your feixiao team, if you really want to keep using her, vertically invest on her teammates e1 robin would probably be highest priority, e2 feixiao is really nice to really boost her ult frequency and topaz is kind of a must, unless you have e6 moze that can kinda do e0s0 topaz's job just slightly worse If you don't want to invest on these teams, just use them until they start to underperform and use the newest character you pulled to keep clearing end game content, older characters can still be enjoyed in story missions and gamemodes like SU and DU, however in my experience at least, the game still hasn't quite reached that point, even year 1 units can be used to clear end game content if your other team can clear in less than 5 cycles But yeah, that's what people in the star rail sphere like mr. poke are saying, "powercreep only exists in star rail if you don't know how to invest" and I agree, I haven't even played for a year and I've been clearing MoC12, AS4 and PF4 since 7 months ago and my teams are still further from ideal

You know what, that's an interesting thought. It is indeed hard to make other alternatives to HP inflation that doesn't lead to the same outcome of "some characters are so much better than others." If gimmicks that put emphasis on various aspects of the game mechanics like "breaking the enemy fast enough before they one-shot your entire team" would just make Superbreak better, or if a boss requires frequent attacks, then Follow-up would take the edge. So, gimmicks would lead to exactly the same problems as HP inflation. Still, I think with the money they're raking in from HSR alone, they have a responsibility to figure things out, even if it's hard. I don't think the effort they're putting into the game is proportional to what they're making, like, at all.

I'm hoping the old characters receive Quests or something to make their abilities stronger or gain new ones so that the players will still use them again. Like the Rank Up Quests from FGO.

As a F2P player I just want to play just for the story and pull for whoever I want I have so many jade 80k+ I just skipping a lot of character so powercreep doesn’t affect me yet, since I have a lot of pull for new characters. Now that doesn’t mean it not a problem it will be once I don’t have access to all characters. And yes I don’t pull for any eidolon or sig LC because they don’t offer anything new gameplay wise other than power boost. Character enabled new team and gameplay that why Im going for a horizontal invest account. I will be skipping half of the amphoreus character I like some design not all of them. So far I been 3 star all end game content except for the pure fiction before the grit mechanics and the first one as well at the time I didn’t have herta fully build so I miss out on 160 jade not the end of the world. I do feel good about 3 star end game content with e0s0 characters the problem is when I try to use old characters they can’t even clear it within 10 cycle. Now my idea of how they can address this power creep problem is the way they implement the grit mechanic in pure fiction you get to choose 3 different buff option for break, dot, and follow up team that same buff should be part of MOC so far we don’t have any of that other than the weird trotter mechanics they each have different weakness it not a viable way. Most cc don’t even read my comment it too long my point might get dismissed either way just giving my thought as a f2p the game is not moving in the right direction it seems to get worse.

Now why do I get cc's that try to gaslight me by saying powercreep isn't real, or isn't much of a factor than I thought? Hoyo community is so weird. Even I did 3-cycle Svarog as always with my E2S1 Ruan Mei + E2 Black Swan and 5-cycle the bug with mini Herta and Jing Yuan's teammates, it still did not feel good. I've felt this way ever since Acheron and Firefly, since I skipped both of them and most of the break units.😮‍💨

I didn’t pull for Rappa sadly so I used Fugue with Acheron and the weakness ignore mechanic on Fugue’s skill is SO good/broken like with Fugue u don’t need to work about matching elemental types anymore😭

also at the big golden tree area with the maze (i forgot the name), you can get a pull if u find the chest at the top of the tower under the tree and if u defeat the echo in the middle area, you get another pull there as well
