So, it's been over 3 years since you posted this video and I'm curious about the yaupon. When you mentioned the fire killing it, did it actually kill it out? Or as I've seen everywhere else, did it only kill the tree above the ground and leave you with a tangle of dead yaupon skeletons, among which new growth sprouted to create more yaupon, which the next fire killed, which created more skeletons, which repeats every time you burn? There are hundreds of square miles of yaupon thicket in the area where I live that have been created by logging or prescribing fire. Most of that is a nearly impenetrable jungle, and for the most part, useless to wildlife because of it. I hope you have been successful at controlling that on your property. I'm of the mind that regular prescribed fire would consume the skeletons left by previous fires. Possibly by burning annually, and more than once a year? I know it makes a mess for damned sure.

This has the cummins nhc 250- 855 ci 14liter small cam cummins engine, uses a pt injection pump, no in tank pump, no lift pump, its just fuel line from tank to fuel filter and then to the pump, they are a pain in ass if have a tiny leak, and the filters that came on them were known for leaking, i have the same engine in my 1983 m925 5 ton cargo truck.i pulled the stock filter off and put napa 4770 screw on filter, and now it starts up everytime no issues, ken spencer of MV parts sells a double filter kit with lines, swap out and you wont regret it. Some people do put lift pumps on but if dont have any air leaks really no point. Glad to see you got it running, those motors are brute and last for ever, they had them in many older trucks, tractor trailer.

I rebuilt those cummins motors in army,changed hundreds with my 5 ton 816, the fuel pumps on those are super touchy sometimes. I made a gas cap for fuel tank to pressurize with air hose. Solves start up issue. The little spring in the pump actually gets week over time. I recommend installing a 2nd fuel filter in line with . Injectors ive only seen issues with tips broken or burned off. They run forever.

The m35 series trucks had a lift pump, but not sure why they didn't put them on the 800 series trucks like yours. Do you have a part # for the spin-on filter housing? Thanks!

Would it be possible to install a 4BT Cummins in place of that old Detroit 2 stroke? Seems like a 4BT would be a better option for power and parts availability.

Enjoyed watching parts 1 & 2!!! Years ago, I watched a similar mobile home demo where all of the furnishings were still inside and in tact. The second bedroom had been a kid’s or kids room with bunk beds and nice toys all over the place - even a big globe beach ball hanging in the corner. The excavator operator had a field day smashing up everything before loading it all into the nearby dumpster!

I'm running a 2021 325G . How are the temps running on yours? I'm running a Diamond disc and it's to much for the machine. Hydraulic temps stay 160-165 but my engine temps are what's running high. Mid day I can overheat it. Just looking for feedback on how that head is performing. I'm looking at the FAE and the Loftness Battle Ax L series.

I save a mattress and use it like a broom to sweep the floors and make piles of the small debris. Nice job.

NIce truck for sure. The 880 is def a nice cab. The extra space is good for the normal fat guy trucker. The way you see out the 880 is nice good for backing up and such. I agree with the cummins heard lots of people having issues with the paccar motors.

This dump truck is around 250K brand new nowadays. Sad

How does this trailer handle going down the road? I just bought one a few weeks ago it might be just bad shocks and because it was empty but this thing bounces side to side so bad I had to tow it home at 45 mph and avoid any large dips or bumps

Having a similar problem with my M813, the pump's fine, it will run but not for long. I'm sucking air into the system somewhere. Swapped the old filter assembly with a Wix filter and fuel separator and put new hoses in. After it stalls out the filter is half full of fuel. Next step is to check the pick up pipe by bypassing the fuel tank.

Hey Matt, its Scott in Laurel Hill. I talked to you about your 325. I'm trying to get the 325G and the 35G mini. I've got to brush cut and pull a ton of Long Leaf Pine stumps off 20 acres, so I got my work cut out for me. Great video on the mulcher! Can you give me a ball park on the cost for the mulcher? And how is it to maintain it? Do you have to constantly sharpen the teeth or replace them? Thanks again. Looking forward to more vids!
