I read the passage from corinthians . I feel dismay at myself. I at least want to improve. To be better some day. I am often irritable, resentful, arrogant, impatient, and everything has to be my way. I thought I was well travelled on my journey only to find I've been going in a circle and am still at square one. I have faith in God. That's all I have. At least I know when you have faith you have everything. So maybe I am well travelled afterall. I like to think so. I'm sure the Lord would give it to me straight. I will be asking him and I'll feel his answer in my heart. I will be enlightened. I can hear his voice now . I have taken several steps. But several steps is nothing to some and a galactic voyage to others. I hear no word with my ears. But my heart and soul are my ears when speaking with the Lord.
