Thanks for making this video. This is the North East and Assam (which is the gate way of North East) which have a rich and glorified history which the mainland India has not. Because the mainland India was occupied by Islamic invaders and they broke many Hindu temples and built Masjids over it. Even these invaders converted a huge amount of Hindu people to Islam by force. But these Islamic invaders were not able to win Assam and North East India. Mughals were defeated by Ahom dynasty for 17 times. The world famous battle which is called the battle of Saraighat was faught between Ahom army led by world famous commander(general) Mahabir Lachit Barphukan and Mughal Emperor Aurangjeb led by Rajput king(Amer) Ram Sing(general). In this navel war the huge and great Mughal army was totally defeated by Ahom army. The number of Ahom solders were very less than the numberof Mughal army. But Indian historians never mentioned it in Indian history. It seems they are jealous of glorious Assam history. Lachit Barphukan is one of the greatest general in the world. But Indians never give to know this fact to the world. What have we gain to join with India? Do you know about brave King Prithu of Kamrup(Asom) who defeated Muhammad Bin Bakhtiyar Khilji very badly who destroyed famous Nalanda University? Bakhtiyar Khilji want to win Tibbet(now China) through the way of Kamrup( the old name of Assam is Kamrup before coming Ahoms). But king Prithu never accepted it. He attacked Khilji when he entered in Kamrup in 1206 AD. with 12000 solders. Before then Khilji occupied Bengal. King Lakshman Sen of Bengal fled away in fear of Khilji in 1206. But Khiji was defeated by king Prithu. Many solders were killed and captured by king Prithu. They are the first Assamese Muslims which lived in Assam after coming out from the prison (1206). Khilji took shelter in a Shiv temple and somehow he fled away from the temple and reached Shikshako(a bridge on the river Barnadi). But the river was broken. Looking no way Khilji and his100 soldiers jumped in the river. Many solders died drawn in the river. At last Khilji succeeded to reach Bengal with less than 50 soldiers. Khilji fell in fever and died after a few day of this battle. It was mentioned in the book 'Tabakaat- ie- Nasiri' written by Minhajuddin. a historian of that time. But the great Indian historians hidden this truth. Why? Pls read my comment and make a video on it if you can. We are grateful to you. There are some mistakes in my English wrighting.
