I got called up in 2022, after >5 years since I ORD. OC Captain Spencer Lau Ping Wei laid his hands on me and threatened violence against me during my reservice, claiming i did not do my part which was a lie. I called the safety hotline and reported him on the lines of safety mismanagement. Nothing happened because it was his words against mine and no one dared stand up against a 3 bar captain. No one could prove either side of the story. Then this clown uploads this video claiming he loves reservist.

Thank you for this video. I've resigned from companies in the past, but it's always this way, the way you describe. It's stressful, exciting, a mixed bag of emotions. I'm resigning from my current employer tomorrow and as you know, it's difficult to sleep. I came across your video and it hits home. While I'm also getting a nearly 50% raise, for me it's more about doing what achieves my career goals and I've found another path that leads to that. I'll miss my colleagues, the company and its culture, but ultimately this decision to take another path toward our goals is on us alone and sometimes we must sacrifice comfort for that. Long comment: I got hired as mainly a server and partly as a host, because the manager who was doing my interview asked if I would be ok with doing some hosting as well. I only said yes because 1) I was looking for work for so long, I didn't want to refuse this job opportunity. 2) I was afraid if I said no, he would be like "We'll find someone who will". As of lately, more like a few months, I have been working mainly as a host and I don't like doing it. I have told my new manager that I would like more server shifts because that's what I was hired to be. I have been told I would, but I've been getting less and less shifts as a server, to the point where I have zero serving shifts this week. I don't want to have to look for a new place because I have grown to like my coworkers, but not working the position I actually like doing has me thinking I should find a place that will actually let me work the position I want( And actually train me properly, that's a different story).
