Could we get a couple more camera angles 😀, Looking forward to seeing the final product.
Nice!
Thanks!
What did you put in the rattle for making noise? Show the final glued up rattle? Great work regardless!
I used bbs but next time I will use popcorn
The final picture is on the TH-cam picture
You should show the finished object!
Congrats for the work, btw
Thanks for the input
Looks great.
Thanks!
No worries
Sorry I missed it, Kirk. I was editing.
Next time!
That sounds way more important to me
Sorry I missed the live, Kirk. Was at my granddaughter's college graduation.
Good work. Great reminders on using 3408 as the base or even as the finish.
The 3408ca is my finish of choice on plain wood, then buff with vonax and carnuba wax, and done
@@kappskreations I’m moving toward something similar more and more.
Really like the calabash bowl you started out with. Question, would the protocol worked better if you turned, sanded, and finished the inside. Then reverse onto the vacuum chuck, removed the tenon, sanded, and finished the outside? My way of thinking it would save you getting your fingers in the wet glue. BTW, the calabash is beautiful. The birch is going to be gorgeous in the New Year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Yes finishing the inside first would be the better way if I was willing to wait for 24 hours to finish the outside. Vacuum chuck and uncured 3408 is a recipe for disaster.
Thanks, that's good to hear
WOW that looks Great, well done 🙌🙌🙌🙌
Very nice. I’d love to see your process for applying the 3408 to this lid.
If you want to take a look at my TH-cam channel, there is a couple of videos about the process
Great little video and an excellent presentation! I wasn't a CA Glue finishing fan, but after seeing this I am!
Can you use it on wet wood? Great job!
Is it food safe?
