Waaaaaait that was MY apartment too! And before that, my husband was in that apartment. We met while I was living there and he was visiting his old home while on holiday (he's a loud tall, German).9 months later I left the castle for Germany . Still in Germany too. ;-) He was there from 2000-2003 & I was there 2007-2010. He's responsible for the Sistine chapel printout up on the ceiling in the lounge/dining room next to the kitchen. I had the first tower floor then moved into the attic/chapel room later. I heard about the huge parties done in the early 2000s up in the tower and that apartment. By 2007 we didn't have as many, but Cheryl and Peter in the apartment opposite would do their annual guy Fawkes bonfire burn, martini Mondays and vegan brekkie Sundays. Was the pinnacle of my 20s life. Best memories ever. But it's a money pit and I wouldn't buy it even if I won lotto. Too many heritage building rules. ;-)

@@SalznPfeffer658 Well, it is indeed a small world Gerwi, yes? I turn 70 this week, so my time at the Castle was in the early 1970's when I too was in my early twenties. I'm glad hear that good times were continued to be had by all and sundry across the decades. I even feel a sort of kinship with you :)
