It was interesting to see how at about 0:45 in the video you start seeing the leafs acting like solar panels and following the sun throughout the days!

Camera is in the wrong position, the sun should mostly be behind or above and white balance was off, the lens was also not sufficiently protected from the elements. these are just notes to self for my timelapse project

Hello! I like this a lot, out of interest what did you film it on? Looking to do the same, also with willow :)

I got a few hyrbid willows and in transport a super thin branch up top broke off...liek straw thin and decided to try and get it to root anyway as a joke and a week and a half later it is rooting liek crazy and already grew in length 6 incehes!

Why did you prune them so hard?

Well done. This is very informative on the many uses of willow. The fact that willow is so useful for so many different things is amazing. Thank you for sharing this information.

I was born in Castle Donington and my family have been living there and Hemington for about 300 years. My family were involved in basket making. My dad also lived on Moles Row as a child. The cottages were flooded by the Trent most years so they had to have a series of planks around the ground floor to keep them above the water line. My dad also worked at the mill and several generations of female relatives for many years before that. My older sister also learnt the skill of willow working. I have researched all of the soldiers who fought in the Great War and have visited their graves/memorials, except those in Africa and Iraq
