@imvibing2265 yeah, it's the slightest drone at a certain rpm. But at cruising speeds 95% drone free. Just a light hum

@dusky7 I believe there was a catastrophic problem with the timing chain. Did not crank evenly. Did not rip into it since they needed it back for a core charge.

@2005llyduramax oh okay yea I ask because I just recently got a 07 sts v8 but it has 176 miles and I really like that car and would want to put money into but don't want it to break down soon do you think it would be smart for me to get a newer engine ?

@dusky7 I'm not sure that it's a common issue on these. Could have been a run without oil or something to cause time to let go. I just know I've beat the living snot out of mine in the last 3 years and 30k miles. Basic maintenance and she's been mint 👌

@@fortmcmurraycash Not entirely. I did injectors, and it still does it. Doesn't make any sense to me. Still does it when very cold but never above 30°f.

@@imvibing2265 Virtually none. Really have to have high rpm to get a drone. 65-85 is nice and quiet inside

@imvibing2265 one of the best mods I've ever done, sounds soooo good! I personally wouldn't delete the resonator, that might cause a drone, plus the additional volume catches the attention of law enforcement pretty easily.

@joseCalderon1976 Yeah, well 200k miles will do that to a Bimmer. Next eccentric shaft sensors and possible coolant cross over pipe. we'll see if fixing this coolant leak causes another spot to spring a leak. Getting trans back in right now.

@dannyc1657 All I can say, it is 100x better than when I moved in 6 years ago. I was lucky to fit 1 vehicle in the door back then. It's a constant work in progress cleaning the place out. One day it will be straight, I promise.

@luisosoriothelionelmessian9845 this car never had drl from factory, this video was me trying to wire up frl using all aftermarket components. This car is not a Canadian car. I'm aware cars manufacturered for Canada had drl factory but this car being for the American market did not have drl until 03+models

@TheFreemenProject Thats interesting. Curious if they quit offering it. It hasn't given me any issues, It sure has improved my passing and towing power. Just wish it was smooth to engage. She hits pretty hard.

@MrEliasdl if 1 or 2 seasons of salt eats through a coating, that's pretty bad. This truck is 19 years old with 320k miles. We've taken exceptional care of the truck since 80k miles. It's done far better than any other truck in the Salt belt between MN and NY winters around here with this many miles and the same age. Never had a salt free life. If 2 years of salt and the product can't hold up, that's just a shame. It's not like it never got cleaned

@jwsvan77 I can promise you this, you drive with the transforce tires bald, you don't have traction in anything other than dry weather. That's my complaint, they are useless at half tread. You literally get half the life of other tires as the tread reaches the halfway point, I wouldn't even run strictly highway in the rain if the tires had no tread blocks as it has no way to reject water. It's pretty simple, everyday life Is not a drag strip

@andrewoch875 I just used valvoline Multtivehicle. The red jug. Threw a bottle of lucas stop slip in there aswell for good measure. I had no history on the transmission. Sure is smooth now!

@@HansSchinwald you wouldn't fit a camera in to show removal. It wasn't meant to be a tutorial. You can barely see it with the naked eye. There was no way a camera would show you what was going on. Video isn't for everyone

GMC ONE BETTER TOO

For being a 5.0l this video has made it sound the best. In the car I don't like the sound of it compared to my 06 7 series or my 05 cadillac STS V8. Normal driving, this engine just sounds weird off camera. It's really hard to explain, but it's just not that appealing in person. The microphone leaves out some of the engine noise that makes it unappealing to me. Can actually hear the grunt of the engine where it person you can't hear the grunt. lol
