A masterpiece - Spinal Tap with a football. Taylor had a unconscious, comic ability up there with David Brent and Alan Partridge. Unfortunately that wasn't what he was employed for.

The line between success and failure in football are so close. In the defining Holland game England were non stop hitting the woodwork and a red was not given. Graham Taylor comes across well in this documentary. Interesting how real he is, heart on sleeve as opposed to stage managed. RIP

"Collymore closing IIIIIIINNN!!!!" Thank you so much for uploading this! I had the VHS as a kid and watched it hundreds of times. I grew up in Denmark and had just taken an interest in English football the year before. I immediately fell for the exciting football of Liverpool, so on a family holiday to London, I picked up some LFC gear, including this VHS and some of those little Corinthians figures. I remember getting Fowler, McManaman, Shearer, and Schmeichel, and I think Redknapp. I still think this was an amazing team; one of the best we've had in my nearly 30 years as a Liverpool fan, and they were unlucky not to win more. Certainly one of the best to watch. Fowler is still my favourite player of all time, along with Michael Laudrup, and he was totally unstoppable at the time. Absolutely lethal with both feet and his head, quick, fantastic technique, an eye for a pass, and outstanding positional awareness. He was unfortunate with some bad injuries and some coaches who preferred other options, but he could've been the best striker in the world. Anyway, thank you again, this era will always be special to me

I'm an American Spurs supporter since 18/19. Was between Spurs or Leicester but stuck with Spurs basically because of Moura's hattrick vs Ajax. Also chose Spurs because I saw a team on the way up that still haven't seen their glory years (unlike City or Wenger's Arsenal). Also because I love the color blue (seriously, why do all the best English teams use red?). Also Spurs played attacking football (unlike Sarri's Chelsea at the time, who I remember was infamous for his counterattacking football).

Possibly my favourite season as a Liverpool fan. Despite it ending in the worst disappointment imaginable at Wembley, the journey getting there was worth it. The Liverpool Man U rivalry was ramped up to 11. I just wish Fergie allowed his team to play football instead of chess in the cup final because the league games between us that season had been electric! Fowler, Collymore and McManaman were terrorising defences and scoring for fun. Granted, our defence was an absolute joke. Even if The Spice Boys tag was meant as a pejorative, it felt good to be a fashionable team again.

You gotta give props to George Graham for winning a trophy at a club hostile to him. I'm of the opinion that since Spurs weren't really a big club in the 90s and early 00s, getting cross city trophy-winning managers isn't necessarily a bad thing.
