Acquired taste. I used to complain about that all the time, but then i realized that sometimes those extreme releases are part of the band's integral sound. Now i love them, even miss them when not there.

The balance of clean vocals and actual death metal vocals from Dark Tranquility are the reason I have heard amazing things about this band. This song along with Misery’s Crown are masterpieces of melodic death metal. Happy 30th anniversary Dark Tranquility. Keep on the melodic death metal greatness in the future with the use of clean vocals or the generic death metal vocals. Either way DT is awesome. That is the abbreviation for Dark Tranquility. half empty I agree. Because I didn’t know that clean vocals in melodic death metal was possible. But now that I got a full rundown of DT, I definitely think that this in fact one of the best pieces of metal music that I’ve ever came across. Or definitely one of the best melodic death metal songs that I’ve heard in a long time.
