There are leaks that Bi-Han does get restored back to Sub-Zero at the end of the Khaos Reigns story. But we can also go a bit further by making Noob Saibot a separate entity from Bi-Han, think of it like the scene in Family guy where Peter loses his arm and the missing arms grows into Retep.
