These don't self-charge the battery when running like a real commercial machine should and then are not DOT approved like some of their competitors. Huge misses for those in the trade. Don't be the desperate dork driving around with this taking all your cargo space.
For less than 3k the chipper is great for the what you pay… vs 30k for a small Vermeer….. I just use the pull start on mine and pop it in and out of the trailer at the job site. Allows me to do tree jobs I couldn’t do without it. Chip the branches into my dump truck. Haul it in my 4 x 8 trailer no problem with tons of other tools 👍
@@chrisconner6446 it’s holding up beautifully.. it’s well built. It’s not a tool I use everyday but I’ve chipped massive piles of limbs many times with it and I’m impressed by it every time I use it. It takes a little finesse to run it like a pro & Obviously keeping sharp blades on it is key. As far as the engine goes it’s a kohler that could run basically forever with proper maintenance… I’m overall very happy with it!
@@kubisk9153 yeah I’m sure the 1500 is a beast too. I just found it worth it to get the 2000 for all the upgrades. The kohler, wheels and tires and bigger chute.
@@nathanhearn8914 I to felt as you do its only 500 more for the upgrade I did pull the trigger and bought the 2000 pro one now i am at the edge of my seat waiting for it to get here :P it funny to watch the difference between the ease of use with this one vr the biggest dk2 not even a close match. dk is a toy compared to what i see on all the video's the wood bounces back on you with the dk almost have to keep force feeding it and then you hear the short piece bouncing around with the dk
Still have this? How is it holding up?

I love mine. Don’t get the 1500, but the 2000 pro is worth the money
@@nathanhearn8914 Why no 1500? I have one and it eats perfectly.. I was actualy surprised how it works.
