Maliboomer was my favorite ride. I remember when I went in 2012 and I was upset that it was gone. I WILL NEVER FORGET

Everyone hated it and it wasnt even popular lol its funny tho that it had a bad rep and was removed for being a generic mass produced attraction yet was replaced nearly a decade later by a generic mass produced attraction they moved from another area of the park and just rethemed lol

My mom wouldn't let me ride this our first few trips to Disneyland, eventually she relented circa 2007, One thing you didn't mention is how the ride wasn't open to the air, you had a plexiglass shield in front of you on your harness, from what i heard, it was to keep the throw up from hitting people on the ground

I visited DCA mid-demo of Maliboomer. I can honestly say that it was, in fact, literally "cut" from the park, as in order to remove it, it was necessary to cut off large "slices" of each tower, lower them to the ground and haul them away.

I had only ever briefly heard of this ride, but I haven’t heard anyone really talking about it, it’s great to see a video about it

I feel like most of the paradise gardens park really needs a glow up tbh. I know it’s like “the kiddie area” but PLEASE. I really hope they but the coco area over there in the back.

Back when this closed, they likely didnt have the Pixar pier vision yet. They could have easily re-themed this into Buzz Lightyears Space Shot. "To infinity and beyond!" Launch!

GUYS MAKE THIS COMMENT BIG. I was recently visiting galaxy land and we were queueing for galaxy orbiter and we were talking with the ride operator and she said that hasbro was spending a couple million dollars to paint the area black

What sucks is, even if it is a new coaster, it’ll probably just be a vekoma junior coaster or something, since Galaxyland said they were aiming to be a more family-oriented park, which was one of the main reasons they removed Mindbender

I’m guessing you didn’t have any video of the actual ride so you had to use Kings Island’s flight commander.

I rode all of them and my favorite one is hang time because we were in the frount and it was scary and funny

I love this coaster, I'm really sad that it'll be closing. It was one of my first bigger coasters when I was younger.

This was a super rough ride for my wife and I. The only coaster we skipped re-riding when we visited again even with no line.

Sure hope they put a new coaster in as a replacement.

Wem employee according to CBC news: “we are excited to announce that we are working on groundbreaking new plans for family thrills that will immerse our guests in an out-of-this-world experience." Basically, they are making it fucking family friendly. Not adult only thrills, not a ‘dangerous ‘ adrenaline rush ride, a family ride. Now there is ABSOLUTELY NO “thrill “ rides of any kind, anywhere near here. Vancouver, and Calgary have good ines, so you now have to drive like 4 hours minimum for a good roller coaster, AND only during summer :))) I fucking hate the city man
