Hi vic
Hello im not to late maybe but hello!
Hello sorry for the long time comment because i busy
Sorr have been late😅
It's okay, I don't take attendance. 😛
Hello
Hi!
i like you video:D
Yeah these are pretty messed up. I mean it’s a whole new nightmare fuel horror 😂 5K is good when you can get a good group that comms 😊
That's good to know - I've had 5k on my wishlist all this time.
@@yalpchannel do it. Escape from Area 12 is cool friends not required as you can team up. You’ll need to watch a tutorial on the pipes etc to escape. The SCP Laboratory is free and a massive let down compared to the paid games. So if any of you tried laboratory thinking nah this is jank. Nah get 5K you won’t be disappointed it’s gripping and multi player co op what’s not to love
I like dead rising remake:)
Me too
hi
Yes, hello!
Keep up with good work it’s really nice to Watch you
Things that are nice to say to a TH-camr and creepy to say in person! lol
Pleasee keep this up i love the ttw mod but cant play it cause i play the older fallouts on the 360,also noone really does ttw playthroughs and records it
Don't worry! I'm taking a little break to play some horror games for October, but there's plenty more TTW coming.
what a cliffhanger!
Uh oh
and in case you are worrying about content and progress, i'm enjoying these struggles for a few inches that include strategizing and backtracking and often a fair amount of misery and i hope that you and others do, too!
Glad to hear I'm good for a bit of schadenfreude, lol.
ok i resisted until now because you said that you don't like gamepads, but.... maybe precise analog controls and the ability to press all the relevant buttons simultaniously without hurting your fingers might be a selling point this time?
You're not wrong, lol. This is a case where the keyboard and mouse don't have much to offer. I can try and remember to give the PS4 controller a chance next time.
this is tense, no shit. you're a natural %)
Stay tuned, lol
i feel in snowrunner the loadster was a pretty useful scout/truck hybrid, it certainly doesn't haul everthing but i found it to be a fun and versatile support for the big boys on many occasions.
I definitely need to use support vehicles. I was gonna say "more", but "ever" would be more correct.
@@yalpchannel which can be tedious in solo mode, but then again, in these games most jobs tend to spiral into a tedious, whilst glorious drag.
loadster ftw indeed, gotta love that little rascal!
Even better with some upgrades!
A bit odd the algorithm suggests this video. Zero views, zero comments. I don’t usually watch gameplay of this game or any of the snow/mud runner series. I bet this guy gonna have an upswing in views and subscribers from now on. I subbed at least
'Tis a blessing from the Algorithm!
great episode, getting stuck is part of the fun and learning how to avoid it even more ;) Expeditions' game design seems to be as clunky as all of its predecessors, though. i love them anyway.
I don't think I'm ever gonna learn to avoid getting stuck, lol.
yay i became a real snowrunner nut last winter so i'm hyped now, but could you please stop lying to me personally about playing ahead %)
Playing ahead?
@@yalpchannel that was a joke about your comment at the beginning of the video. the game asked you to do the tutorial "again".
@@chongel ah, lol, I gotcha.
@@yalpchannel hehe glad to hear that. btw my girlfriend also couldn't believe you don't have more subscribers by now. with your voice and style you should be among the top players she said! don't blush now.
@@chongel so is this, like... One of those "we saw you from across the bar" type situations? Seriously, though, I do appreciate it. Personally I think I don't have the energy level that lots of people are looking for in an LP. But I do know there are some things I could be doing to get promoted more, like Shorts and a PFP and a channel trailer.
you should check out the mods b42 scope, and a JIP Selective-Fire, along with JAM, perhaps as an alternative to VAT for more a 'impact'?
I'm not sure I want to mess with mods so far into the run, but I am interested in checking them out. Have you got links?
hey vic, what about your beautiful vic-cam? will that be gone for good?
Oh! You're the first person to ask, lol. I don't think it's gone for good, but it's going to be a few months. I can't make it work with my current setup, but I am planning to make some changes.
@@yalpchannel cool, thx for the answer.
Is this mission exclusive for director's cut?
Yes. You also have to complete a certain story mission before it becomes available.
When you get all intel, it gives you the covert ops perk, which adds +3 to science, small guns, and lockpicking
Ah, nice, thanks! I really should have done this DLC earlier in the playthrough, lol
aint this uh operation anchorage?
Yep!
Please try not to say um so often.
Your playing exactly where I was just playing last! Crazy coincidence
Did you stop?
@@yalpchannelyea went to bed irl after clearing out the death claws
@@UnknownSovereign ah, gotcha. Yeah that's a good spot for a break.
Glad you found out that it was a specific mod that nerfed you into oblivion and then you chose to disable it. I would have done that too. In my opinion the whole point of playing the two games joined together is so that you can go in a little bit better off than if you'd just started normally. At least keeping the stats etc. Equipment doesn't matter so much, but I had to nod with firm agreement when you mentioned that you're not a fan of things you've worked so hard to get being taken away from you. I'm the same.
I can't remember if I mentioned it at the time, but it struck me as particularly odd given that I knew the level cap had also been increased. Those last few levels are going to take so much XP, why did I also have to lose a whole bunch? I might have wound up using the console to "fix" it if I hadn't figured out which mod to disable, lol.
Getting fully reset was totally unexpected. I assumed the point of joining both games was so that you could carry-over your progression. Kinda sucks.
Yeah that was rough. I was expecting to lose my gear but I guess I didn't read far enough to see about the levels too.
You have a great voice
Thanks! That's especially good to hear since I just moved into a new space and the room sound is different.
Severaly underrated you deserve more subs
That's very kind, and thanks for doing your part!
That's true!
This is the first gameplay video of yours that I've seen, and so far, I really like it, man! New subscriber and a like-looking forward to more.
Thanks, and welcome! I hope you find a few more that you like as well. 🙂
i can recommend Metro Exodus if your haven't played it already. feels a bit like a fleshed out fallout campaign i think, with all the sneaking and collecting.
Great recommendation. I loved all the Metro games, especially Exodus. It's been long enough I could probably do a playthrough, but I remember it's annoyingly easy to fall into the bad ending.
@@yalpchannel there's a bad ending? i think i had the good one. i must be a pretty nice person!
@@chongel yeah dude if Artyom lived on your playthrough you are both thorough and very friendly lol.
@@yalpchannel ok now i see. i'm on my second playthrough now and this time i'm actually reading the diary which reflects the whole morality system pretty nicely. also, looking into this i noticed 2 dlc's ..... *wink*
@@chongel .... 2 DLCs you say?
Not sure why this video was on my recommended. But hey dude.
Not sure either, but hey!
14:50 Those three raiders gave you a very rough, touch-and-go time. I think the perk you took in an earlier episode that gives you more damage and better vats against raiders really paid off for you here. That was prudent planning on your part, good job. I played this game when it first came out, but it's been so long now that I am not sure: How effective is non-V.A.T.S. shooting? Most of the time it looks like you just place the crosshair mid-torso and fire until either they die or you need to reload. Does any kind of aiming, either down the iron sights or going for a headshot improve the outcome?
So... Yeah. Non-VATS shooting works fine, and bullets generally do go near where you're aiming so it can pay to go for a headshot. I think in base Fallout 3 there is no aiming down the sights - it's crosshair only. I do strongly prefer VATS, so usually if I'm fighting without it it's because I'm out of AP and somebody's up in my face. In that case, I choose center-of-mass because I'd rather score more hits than take a chance on bonus damage. But you'll see me go for the occasional headshot without VATS.
08:55 npc "I really hope you're not thinking of breaking into there." Vic "I really think you oughta mind your own business. Messing with me has a very high fatality rate." What a great bit of smack talk. Superb.
Vic re landmines "There's one up on that hill.... perhaps I can make a deal with God." Outstanding Kate Bush reference, and done so quickly too. I salute you.
21:42 That was tense when the super mutant ran around the corner at you wielding the large hammer. So satisfying to see you drop into V.A.T.S. and unload your ammo into his face in that glorious little kill cam. Brilliant.
I keep making it more exciting by switching weapons at the last moment, too.
I had a fad beeling about this.
Never tell me the odds!
Vic re the Ice Worm areas. "Now be honest, did you play this section with the snowfox, or did you come to the same conclusions I did?" I'm definitely a lot dumber than you are, because yes, I did that area with the snowfox and in constant terror and panic. That said, it wasn't actually much of a problem. A few times a worm would hit the snowfox and knock me off, but I was able to mount it and drive off again before taking any proper damage. Mostly I found I was too fast and would hear the worms erupt from the ice behind me but would be out of range before they could attack. Despite carrying a thumper I never deployed one. Regarding the snowstalkers, like you almost saw at 20:57 they can wander rather freely, but sometimes get too close to a worm and it will eat the stalker. When I saw one do it it grabbed the stalker, chewed on it, tossed it into the air and then caught and swallowed it. Impressive. Vic "I thought they smelled bad on the outside." Oh Bravo! Hoth is my favourite chapter in all of Star Wars.
I did get to see the stalker-eating animation off-camera - I was a little bummed it didn't come up again while I was recording. I don't know about you, but it turns out thumpers don't work the way I thought, and if I understood them I might have actually used them. Turns out the thumper is the opposite of the ones in Dune, and actually REPELS the worm.
15:52 Vic encounters a leviathan. re the devs "They are real good at making up leviathans that are upsetting." Yes indeed. Great design by the devs. And can we also appreciate just how wonderfully they've animated them, too? Watch that eel-like undulation of its body as it swims. Such a good job all round. And when you get a close up of its disgusting maw trying to eat through the window of your sea truck there's also some appreciation for that incredible grossness of its pulsing throat, as well.
The Shadow Leviathan is their most effective design, too. Made all the more upsetting by the extreme aggression.
You are a literal neckbeard
This has been a very good Let's play, and I've enjoyed it very much. Thank you for making it.
I had to leave this for a few days because I liked seeing it on my dashboard. I'm glad you enjoyed, and thanks for watching!
Vic "I have two glass in my pocket... and my other hand is making a peace sign." Oh bravo on squeezing the Alanis Morissette song lyric in there. Hard to believe that when writing this comment in 2024 it's been 29 years since she released that. Ouch. When mentioning how you thought the crab squid was using telepathy on you, you then go on to muse upon the message for the alien containment "...you never know when you may be being watched in return" and mention how you think the devs didn't follow through on it. That message rather worried me when I got it. Made me relucant to hatch anything in case it was "the wrong thing". However after finishing the game and seeing the Emporer's symbiosis with the peeper fish, using them to sustain the waters and life around herself, I came to the conclusion that the "watching back" was done through the peepers. It seems logical and what big eyes to see me with.
I'm so glad somebody finally noticed that one, lol. One of the rare instances of a quip I thought of between episodes and then remembered to actually say! I totally agree about the peepers. Actually I thought it was in the lore somewhere, but now that I'm thinking about it I don't think it's explicit. The part about the peepers being her eyes, anyway.
Hell fuckin yeah Vic, you are the man!!
🤘
Re your own photos that you've put up as paintings in the habitat: Those are some beautiful photos, of beautiful models. You've got a superb talent there, Vic. I was surprised, but yes, it is possible to use the QR code painting in the video to link to your instagram. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks! I've been thinking it's about time for me to start taking some photos again - maybe I'll need to find some more excuses to share.
I never realised there are two sea dragons. I assumed that the size of the subnautica map was only sufficient to feed one beast of the Sea Dragon's size, so when I dodged the first one I saw and went down into the lower lava area and encountered the dragon again I just assumed it was the same one that had followed me down there. Doh! Vic re cyclop's power "It is going down quite slowly. It's probably because I picked up some mynocks." Bravo on the Star Wars reference.
Honestly I'm still not 100% sure there isn't just one. It could be that the game is moving the one around so that it's in the area you are in order to keep things interesting. I guess you could argue that that's the same thing as there being two.
I was rather impressed by the story behind the Sea Emperor and how she had kept the entire eco-system around her alive. I found it gave a very clever and satisfying explaination for the game's world map limits. Bravo devs for finding a way to work the map into the story in a viable way. When you were explaining your addiction to ion cubes, gathering another batch even though you had more than you'll need already, I was smiling and nodding because I behave the same way too.
The one thing about the Sea Emperor story that I don't think quite makes sense is the Void Ghost Leviathans. But yeah I generally found it to be fairly cohesive.
This made me chuckle: after the sea dragon ambushed you from out of nowhere and chewed on your prawn a bit until you drilled his teeth to make him let go, he then swam around just glaring at you as if to say "I could kill you if I wanted to but I can't be bothered." He was just scared you'd take him to the dentist a second time.
Even leviathans need a bit of copium every now and then. :D
What mods are you running? This gameplay makes me want to play fo3 again. Love fo3 just hasn’t aged too well.
Technically this is the Tale of Two Wastelands mod pack for New Vegas. There are like 350 mods in the pack but the installation was pretty easy and I think this is the best way to revisit FO3 today.
@@yalpchannel thank you. I’ve been watching some of your let’s plays and it looks like a major improvement.
@@EchoCascade79 Agreed! It's been remarkably stable, too. The one problem I've had, which might be due to a load order issue, is that water doesn't heal as much as it should. I was very short on stimpacks in the early part of the game.
