I would appreciate Sideswipe only if he came with an eBay bundle, just for his gun and knife weapons. Those would be neat to give to someone else.

I would agree it’s Armada’s best mold, but the entire Unicron Trilogy? I’d say that’s a bit of a stretch

So! Blurr appeared with a red redeco in one of the filler episodes of Cybertron on earth. They almost got a speeding ticket and had to play stupid as "remote controlled" cars owned by Coby when Blurr started talking in front of the cop and almost blew the Autobots' cover. Buzzsaw appears a couple of times during the Velocitron episodes as a "Johnny on the spot" type newscopter broadcasting the big race across Velocitron. You can see him at the start of the race, he stayed in helicopter mode from what I remember but he gets a fair amount of screentime.

When I had him I always kept him in vehicle mode

I would probably argue that Armada Scavenger is the worst mold of the Unicron Trilogy. Sideswipe atleast has articulation.

I love this toy it has everything I need in a Transformer

I had Runamuck because I wanted Longrack and Buzzsaw. He was....ok not great, but colors and change to his gimmick gave him a certain charm.

I own both Runamuck and Side Swipe (Or Sideswipe, just depends on however you want his name to be since he was spelled with a space during the Armada run) and while I do agree that the mold is not the best at all, the alt mode is its one saving grace for this figure. It's such a beautiful looking car and Runamuck just makes it look sooo much better with all the extra since it looks like something out of mid 00's Need for Speed games like Underground or Most Wanted. I personally think Runamuck does the mold a little bit of justice than what the other two redecos failed to do when it comes to being a recolor. I mean, a visor and outer car shell recoloring? That's it? They look like someone cloned Side Swipe.

Blurr is worse.

I like to see Oil Slick and Treadshot as the Rumble and Frenzy for Universe 2003's Soundwave. Don't ask me which one is blue and red.

the first 10 Armada transformers were real good Autobots Optimus prime , Red alert. , Hotshot , Overload . Jet fire / Decepticons, Star scream , Megatron , Tidal wave ,Demolisher and Cyclonus bUT then they let the idiot team make toys at Hasbro ,

I love his car mode because it just makes me smile when I see it

He was released in the last wave of armada deluxes and looks like he was thrown together at the last minute and when tjomega reviewed him in his plastic addict series back in the day, he said he looks like Popeye the robot man, so maybe it is popeye after he was turned into a robot!

Fun fact about this bot, Aaron Archer let in on this info during one of his podcasts. So the guy who designed Sideswipe was just hired by Takara and wanted to be an intern or something like that. But with how Takara and other japanese companies work at the time, they'd hire a newbie and see how they are in another position or something like that. So the guy who designed it was not at all experienced with toy design, let alone trying to make a transformer. So when you think about this thing being crap and thinking it was made by some oblivious guy, it's because it was.
