My favorite movie of 2023. This is the 2nd best movie of the year. Best movie was The Killer. Both movies were so quiet and slow, both forced me to actually pqy attention and leave my phone to the side

The running is to represent Speed Skating I guess that's what they do to go faster. I think it's looks weird & not everybody would know about something like that. His running was good in Justice League Snyder cut.

No wonder Stephen King thought highly of this movie. This became one of my fave horror movies of all time after watching it. Kaitlyn Dever did a great job here. Effects were awesome. This movie makes me think an alien invasion and conquering our world might be the best thing to happen to our world. Or I'm completely wrong and I'm insane for even thinking this. I liked Xolo and the whole family dynamic. The action was also a lot of fun. The movie was just a little too underdeveloped and generic for me with terrible villains. While I had a decent time I do think it was forgettable. I wouldn’t mind seeing Xolo continue in the DCU though.

So one theory I have read straight after watching this was that the thing in their mouths (the small tentacle balls) actually took over the Grays too (hence all the roars/screams despite their quite small mouths etc) and then using the Grays to take over more species (with us being next) also note when the long limbed Gray fell off the roof they did that body popping move thing to crawl backwards just like the mailman on the coach and it's certainly not something we can really do (with the exception of a few double jointed people) Also the reason she was happy I assume is because humans in her eyes had already alienated her, she was isolated by her own people so she was able to find a community with the aliens.

The unnecessary extention scene (The mini-rock-opera I'm just Ken) is one of my absolute favourites in the movie. (the) Ken's struggle to find his (their) way. The younger men find the slap in the face of patriarchy the movie provides refreshing. A hint to them they don't have to join the patriarchy anymore. 2023 there are other options. Like being who you are, not how old fashioned rules demand you to be. I find the movie shallow- at the surface. Below the surface it triggers us to reflect. Barbie didn't leave me.

To us oldsters, DC was silly before it became dark. Anyway, nice to see you doing movies. I always enjoyed your reactions to the TNT Boys.

Hated a lot of new Superhero movies. They have all let me down, particularly The Flash and Shazam FOTG, which I DNF. This one looks like a fun watch though.

I think Blue Beetle is a lot better than The Flash. The CGI on The Flash is just garbage. Blue Beetle's CGI is much better.😊😊

"Sounds like Game of Thrones.." No, it doesn't. GoT sounds like this. Neverwinter lore goes back 30+ years, as does Baldur's Gate. None of this setting was influenced by much of anything beyond Lord of the Rings.

Women are picking up hints and double meanings faster than Guys, as I noticed - so it is very feminine aura infused - although idea is for every type of humans of all gender, indeed. It's about humanity - deep message.

The spirit was lying and posing as her mother as manipulation. They stated that the spirits eventually fade and lose their grip. In order for the spirit to keep Riley, he needed to die so that she could have him forever. It convinced Mia to kill Riley in order to "save" him. Jade even mentions later in the movie that Riley seems to be getting better and is more himself. Sadly, I think the solution was for Mia to have done nothing at all, and the spirit would have been forced out on its own.

Its the other way around, Oppenheimer was only as successful as it was because of Barbie.

The mom Killed herself it said so in the note that her dad read to Mia, he didn’t wanted to tell her this before because it would have caused more pain in Mia. That’s all abouther mother, also the ghost was never her mother.

She's Gloria's Barbie and Gloria never played with Ken growing up so that's one reason why this Barbie isn't into Ken like she is expected to be.

I loved it. Seen it twice so far. I loved the complete flip on traditional romcom movies, the silly depictions of stereotypes for both men and women, the way the male actors in the movie were not afraid to take these roles and run with them, the attention to what we think is beautiful, and of course the soundtrack. I’m 60 and feel the movie is groundbreaking, creative, thought provoking and funny.

The title is fine but that's enough reaction for me.

The reason it’s so popular is because it’s an excellent movie. You just don’t get it. Oppenheimer actually did better because of Barbie. Barbie is at 1.4 billion and biggest movie of the year.

The best part of the Barbie movie was Ken... Ryan can sing, act, cry, dance... he's the most talented actor in this movie.
