We did this last September and took the coastal route, which was stunning, the sands down there are superb. We missed out on seeing the stream train by 5 minutes but you can not have everything, cheers Alan

That was some view from the cottage and that was some weather as well - you sure that was Scotland! Never like that when we are there but when you get the weather you are always guaranteed the views, which were amazing, cheers Alan

I was up there just over a week ago but did not get the sun your did or I was promised by the forecast. Great summit shot and the views are real nice from there in all directions. Looked a fun day out with the family, cheers Alan

This made me emotional. Fab job by you all. I've been waiting for my boys to get to age where i can hike again, and now they are 4 and 6 i'm heading to the lakes next week for some climbs. Starting small of course, but this was really inspiring. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for uploading this - it's the display my daughter and I saw last week and it was amazing to be able to watch it again.

We have only been to France once and that was about 25 years ago but it never stopped raining once and the locals were very standoffish, who refused to speak English, even though I knew some of them were fluent. I must admit, the spot you picked was very beautiful indeed and a great village to explore. I like the idea of no TV or wifi, as we could entertain ourselves quite happily on that stunning beach. Hmm, making be think about a return visit, cheers Alan
