yeah they just love to talk about everything thats happening and it generally includes nitpicking, but I think, atleast from my experience of them before that they generally are enjoying it still.

Thanks for confirming the other picture was of Chloe and Max. Even if she needs a picture of herself for her power to work, it's still an insanely powerful ability. She can still save so many lives. Right now she's completely focused on saving Chloe and stopping Jefferson, but once they're in the clear... let's get the girl fitted for a cape! Max has her cell phone in this time warp - she can get so much done, warn people about the tornado, make so many changes, etc. To your second point, we realized she is locked in the photo environment a bit later in this video around 15:40. She seems to have a decent amount of time since she sends the text to David and then hangs out in the room, looks around, and talks with Kate, Victoria, and Jefferson. Even if her time is limited she can repeatedly rewind within the past to learn and give herself time to think like she did with William in Part 29. She can make sure she spends the time in the past as efficiently as possible. But the most important thing is that Max has her cell phone. She doesn't have to leave the photo boundaries to make changes. She can send texts to people who she knows will believe her. Chloe's number isn't in her cell phone yet, and Chloe might not even believe her at this earlier point. But she can still send messages to Warren or anyone who can get a message back to herself. This would let her make the key decision that she never seems to think about - get a collection of photos. She should keep a collection of photos on her and create a few backup copies so she always has the ability to go back to key moments. If Max has backup pictures she never has to worry about making changes that she can't unmake. If she spaces out her pictures, she can safely go back to points where she's happy with the outcomes of her changes and not risk messing anything up by changing things before those points - just like save points in a video game.

@Knight_And_Day yeah, I suppose all of that and many other theoretical possibilities are true as well. It would be a very different kind of story if they went that route, though. You guys are looking at this from a very logical, science fiction point of view. But, in my opinion, this isn't really a "time travel" story. The time travel mechanic in this story is a metaphor for regret, in my opinion. The "what if I had done something differently? Said something differently? Gone this way instead of that way? Would that have made me a better friend? Would I have been a better person? Could I do something about someone else's pain, trauma, enough to change their life? Etc. Etc. It's a young adult story about friendship dressed up as a supernatural thriller, but in the end, it's a very small, personal, coming of age story. Along with the ubiquitous sci-fi/fantasy trope of "is humanity ready for this kind of power? Can it actually be used for good, or is the cure more terrible than the disease? Etc. Etc.

Also: In the alternate reality Warren is with Stella, still not with Brooke. For the lock, you find it in chapter 3 while looking for password of the laptop and it has the combination that you need in order to unlock it during chapter four. Pretty sure you can't find the combination just from information gathered in chapter four. I assume you could look it up somewhere in your notes, but once again I have no idea where you'd find it.

We're happy to shout out people who help us out or have interesting things to say. I've seen some videos where they say "Someone in the comments really helped, but I don't remember your name. Anyway I never would have figured it out on my own." That kind of bugs me. It just seems inconsiderate/rude. If certain views don't want to be mentioned that's completely fine. But if the channel is just too lazy to check who wrote a comment... No we still haven't finished Life is Strange yet! We're really limited in how often we can meet. The demands of life, work, etc haven't let up. We've only been able to meet once every two months recently. That's why I've been running PvZ2 solo. But it wasn't a great choice of game. I'm mostly focusing on strategy in the commentary rather than just having fun talking about random things. At least the bundles have had fun guest starring in a few episodes. I'm working on something different for the next solo game. In my experience the main thing most parents want is for their children to be happy and healthy. As long as you're not strung out on drugs or dealing drugs yourself it's mostly good. Of course there are those parents who will never be satisfied with anything, but they seem to be the exception. Besides, gamers come in all shapes and sizes. There are plenty of intelligent gamers who are worth talking to. Pretty sure we're close to the end of Life is Strange. At least we're definitely at a point where the crap has hit the fan. Can't wait to see how it all pans out! (but I'll probably have to wait for at least two months lol)

@@Knight_And_Day "the thing most parents want is for their children to be happy and healthy"...you know, I have been wanting to give YOU a shout-out...there was a video early on where your little boy was sitting in for a few minutes and you were having a talk with him about swearing. You said something to the effect of "those are grown up words and when you are grown up you can decide whether or not you want to use them .." I was so impressed with that! No shaming, no stigmatizing...just a matter of fact and non-judgmental approach to an awkward topic...that was some next-level parenting!

Oh, and secondly, I want to apologize if my original comment came across as condescending. I was regretting it later thinking, geez I sound like a jerk. No, I have watched a lot of playthroughs of this game and I am absolutely impressed by the thoughtfulness that so many approach their playthroughs with. One in particular that really stood out: are you familiar with Vestin? He did a playthrough of this game that was remarkable, partly because he has a degree in philosophy and was analyzing it every step of the way from that perspective, but also, he began his playthrough absolutely HATING the game. I mean he was tearing it apart! He hated Max, hated every word she spoke, every decision she made, the way she wrote in her journal, despised Chloe and didn't want Max to save her in the bathroom....etc...etc...I'd never seen someone react with such vitriol to this game. It was actually quite upsetting. When you have a story that you feel an emotional connection with and you know others have absolutely had a strong or even profound experience with, it's upsetting when someone starts tearing it apart. So I avoided his playthrough at first, and then, like a car-wreck you can't take your eyes away from, I started watching it again, to see if perhaps the game would work its magic and start to grow on him. And it did. Little by little. And we ended up having some interesting in depth conversations in the comments along the way. And towards the end there were moments when he was genuinely emotional and upset for the characters, and ended up giving the game a 5 out of 5. But what a journey for him to get there! I've never seen anything quite like it, lol.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate you saying that! My kids are the most important thing in my life. They're such wonderful little smooshers! I always try to go above and beyond to make sure I do a good job raising them. We talk about honor and fairness all the time. I'm always honest with them, even when it comes to sensitive subjects. Though that situation actually arose from a mistake on my part. Sometimes I let the little guys guest star in a few K&D episodes since they enjoy being in the show. I figured the intro to Chapter 2 would be fairly tame, similar to the classroom and walking through the halls intro to Chapter 1. But of course the game had more swearing in that part. No worries - you didn't come across as condescending at all. Just seemed like you were sharing your perspective. I'm not familiar with Vestin. But I might check him out. I'm interested in channels where they are open-minded and/or criticize games fairly. There are so many channels that just praise every game up and down, either because they don't analyze the games deeply enough or because they're intentionally pandering for more views.
