At 3:50 you mention flipping your work- people usually do this to make sure there are not any issues or inconsistencies on the "top" side of the project before you continue further/beyond repairing. I still have a hard time getting all of my edges to stay straight and perfect and they often curl on the edges, but wet-blocking my squares has been a game changer and leaves them all looking much more uniform! Happy crocheting

It turned out really, really cute, far from silly or cringe! As for flipping your crochet projects after every row, I looked into it when I first started crocheting and as far as I know, it's mainly so that the pattern stays consistent, not flipping it can make the edges curl, which happened to me a few times. If you ever pick up a project where you crochet into back loops only and you flip it after each row, it creates a really cute ribbed pattern that you wouldn't get if you didn't flip after each row! But it all depends on the project!

I feel like I attract really bad people in my life and everyday interactions can sometimes make me really start disliking humanity even though I always want to stay kind and gentle and I fight really hard not to become bitter. It's really hard sometimes. But occasionally I'm lucky enough to run into precious and kind human beings like you, which really helps me remind myself that the world is not so bad and that not everyone is bad. Just from your demeanor, you seem so genuinely kind and pure and I'm happy I got to watch this video, I really needed it. So thank you. You seem like you would make an amazing friend. Thank you for making these videos, they're going to be a safe haven to so many people who need it.

I am also someone who uses their phone to record, and my video quality is not even as good as your phone lol 😅 I have to do the same thing, record and then delete all my clips so I have room in my phone to take 1 million photos of my baby. I used to feel the same way, very shy about recording in public, but as someone with pink hair who records in public but it gets better, I promise no one cares or notices, and if anyone does I just smile and let them know what I’m doing, it always sparks up a conversation and then maybe you’ll have another supporter on your YT journey.
