We're sorry the music was disturbing. In our new cartoons, we don't use music when characters speak. Unfortunately, we can't remove music from this video.

Repka is a Russian folk tale published in 1860 by folklore researcher A. N. Afanasyev in his collection Folk Russian Tales. It was recorded in Arkhangelsk province.

We wanted to make the cartoon not only useful, but also interesting. Perhaps we overdid it with the falling airplane. But, mind you, the airplane didn't fall in the end! And all is well!

The implication is that Russian aircraft are unsafe. Couldn't you find something else "interesting"? There is nothing else humorous or remarkable in the rest of the video though it is a good educational video.

The airplane scene was inspired by a real-life event experienced by our illustrator during a 2015 flight to Singapore, where a bird strike forced an emergency landing. Fortunately, no one was harmed, but it left a lasting impression and influenced their creative approach. While we understand your concerns, this detail was included to add a personal and memorable touch to the video-not to make any implication about safety. We appreciate your understanding and are glad you found the rest of the video educational!

​@@RussianCartoonsI believe you. And since 2022? I visited Russia for the first time in 1995, Peter only, then made my Honeymoon in a riverine Cruise from Peter to Moscow in 2006 and loved it. But nowadays no one from the Western Europe would ever consider entering Russia. No way.

Every day tourists from Western Europe arrive. They come from Germany, from Italy, from Greece and other countries. It has become more difficult, there are no direct flights, but people still come! They fly through Turkey, through Serbia. They go by car through Bulgaria/Turkey/Georgia. Of course less than before. But they still come. They come from Japan, and from the USA.

Well, I am an EU citizen, and I spent 3 weeks in Russia this summer! Many people told me not to go, cause it is dangerous, but it is actually safer than other EU countries
