The Focus of our Channel is to follow along with the rebuild of both our 74 Corvette Convertibles and our 94 Corvette ZR-1 in that "what works for me" may also "work for you" or at least give you another idea in any task that you may be confronted with on your own projects...our Channel is basically geared towards the new Owner or Enthusiast getting ready to perform a task for the first time and may be a little hesitant in doing so...or as mentioned above...giving someone another idea who has already been there before...but may have to be there again... exciting times ahead with more videos in the future.....thank you for stopping by to checkout the Channel...

มุมมอง 47หลายเดือนก่อน
Finally figured out why the tail lights on the 74 were not operational.... basically you need to check and then recheck to avoid a non operational part(s).... especially with a new wiring harness.... #corvettec3restorationseries #c3corvette #corvettec3 #1974corvette

If the body was removed from the frame perhaps shims were not put back on the rear drivers body mount to close up the door gap? Thanks for the video.
To my knowledge and no reason to believe that the body was ever removed from the frame.....good thought though....both #4 body mounts and brackets were replaced....as they were toast....I'm thinking that the gap was there from the beginning.....but something we will never really know....glad you liked the video....thanks.....😁😁
I just checked my hood alarm switch and it's loose like yours as well. My guess is maybe they designed it like that to allow for movement of the hood while driving (bumps, vibration, etc) so as not to break the switch.
Where, exactly, did you get that unit? What is the brand? Who is the vendor? Please let us know.
All of the Corvette vendors offer this clock...I don't remember exactly what vendor I purchased the unit from...as this was purchased years ago and on my parts shelf....but I always try to look for sales plus free shipping when available....😁😁
I stand corrected....as the bolts 🔩 on the bottom of the glass are 1/2"....not 7/16" as I mentioned in the video....mostly all of the inside door attachments for the regulator...inside door handle etc are 7/16"....😁😁
Be sure to follow up with Part 1A after Part 1 here....😁😁
Obviously meant to say 7/16" socket with ratchet or a 7/16" boxed or open end wrench....😁😁
Super clean deck lid! Nice video.
Thank you, as your deck lid video was very helpful as well...😁👍👍
And thank you....😁😁👍
Any of the Corvette vendors have this particular clock....just check them all out for the best price...as there may be "sales" at any given time....😁😁
Great video! From where you bought the Quartz conversion kit? I’m looking on doing the same.
Thanks Adel....I purchased this unit from one of the Corvette vendors.....check them out as there are sales offered at various times....😁😁
Used a marker for the lettering and just went across them very slowly as you know they are raised....take your time and it helps if you have a magnifying glass as it will give you more of a prospective of where to place the paint stick....sorry for the delayed reply....hooe this helps....😁😁
Thank you so much for making this video! Preparing to do this on my 68! Richard is good peeps😊
Glad it was helpful! and have fun with your 68...😁😁
How do you do the lettering on the volume and tuning.
I apologize for the late reply....been having computer issues.....just took my time with small brushes and a magnifying 🔎 glass for a very close up look....😁😁
Hello Gary....all the parts were purchased from either Zip....Corvette Central and or Top Flight depending on who had what in stock and any sales or shipping offers included....I also have multiple FB Automotive Groups in operation and one that may interest you is our "C3 & C2 Corvette Convertible Decklid...Soft & Hardtop Restoration" You are more than welcome to join....and thank you for the compliment....it is very much appreciated... Tom...😁😁
Your deck looks really good. Where did you purchase the rods, cables and springs from, or did you have them plated?
I apologize for the very late reply....had major computer issues....you may have already purchased....those items were purchased from Zip....😁😁
And thanks....😁😁
@@Toms-C3-C4.Corvette...WorkShop Thanks for responding, did you buy the cables or painted them?

This is our 1st video of many more in the future....the basic theme of our videos is "what works for me"....meaning that there may be multiple ways to accomplish any given task... as there are plenty of ideas and procedures out there....so taking all of that into account will determine the Focus which is as mentioned.... "what works for me".... hopefully will give you ideas in "what works for you".... Thanks for checking out our first video...hope you will give us a like and subscribe.... appreciated....😁😁
